What the title says, Personally i would love to see Civil War on the big screen and I haven't read Secret Wars so i can't really say my opinion on it.

Secret Wars would be more entertaining IMO.

But Civil War would be awesome if done properly.

 

I'd rather they not even try Civil War until all the film rights are back in Marvel's hands.

 

I would assume the OP is talking an animated feature since there is no way either could ever be a live-action feature.

 

Civil War is cool, but I really hate sad endings T_T

Really though I want to see the sentient armor arc animated more than anything.

 

Civil War was garbage. Secret Wars was fun but I don't think it could be made unless it was an animated feature.

 

You might get an animated version, but not a live action, too many of the major characters such as Spider-man, FF, X-men, rights are spread out around various Companies due to deals made pre-Disney merger. This has even effected some of the cartoons and straight to DVD movies.

 

Civil War. If done right, it could be much more epic than Secret Wars. They'd both be good, though.

Short version,

Secret Wars: Marvel U's best heroes versus Marvel's best villains in a battle royale.

Civil War: Marvel's heroes versus Marvel's heroes in a battle royale.

 

Secret Wars. Civil War was an average idea spun out for WAY too long over WAY too many comics and with a crappy resolution.

 

I voted Neither. I'd rather get an Infinity Gauntlet movie, with an Infinity War sequel. Crusade can just...go away.

 

Give me a good Punisher film first.

I agree that either could work, but would personally prefer Secret Wars. However, they might need to make a few updates to the story here or there. BTW, the 90s Spiderman cartoon had a multi-episode Secret Wars arc. There were some pretty major differences though, if memory serves.

 

Ah come on, Infinity Crusade was pretty good...at least the idea behind it.

if they can get some more of their classic heroes on film in quality approaching "Iron Man" or "The Incredible Hulk" then we can talk crossover events.

 

They couldn't get 90% of the characters for the Spider-man version. In order for Secret Wars to be even 1/2 way decent it would have to be a two parter though. 2 part animated straight to video.

Alien Costume=Venom
Titania
She-Hulk joins the FF
Doom=Badass
Cap's shield destroyed
Spider-man beats up the x-men(by himself) would have won too if Xavier hadn't erased his memory of why he was there
Hulk had banner's mind at the time, but by the end was going back into hulk smash mode. Plus he holds up a mountain during an issue
2nd Spider woman introduced
Wasp and Magneto make out
Magneto teams up with the x-men
and much more

 

Don't forget awesome 80s toyline.
