Which major Decepticon in the 3rd movie should have lived to be the main villain/new army raiser in the fourth movie?

I personally would like to see Starscream run away as usual but have an after credits scene (with Igor   ) where he realizes that all are dead and it is now necessary to become the glorious leader of the Decepticons. Their only goal now would be to bring destruction on the insect planet (since there is no Cybertron to return to) and personally execute Optimus Prime.

Also, there is no "None of the above, bring on Unicron" option for fear that EVERYONE would pick that one. Just vote in this hypothetically thinking that one of these would survive for another day.

 

Truce or not, Megatron should've survived.

Perhaps there should be an 'all of the above' option. Or at least an option for Megatron, Starscream, Soundwave & Shockwave. Sentinel Prime really should have been put down in DOTM, but I have to admit that the loss of so many Decepticons was a downer. It might have been fun to see Shockwave & Soundwave survive and transition into the leadership duo in the next film(s) a la Megatron & Starscream.

 

Both Starscream and Shockwave. Creating a power vacuum with both vying for control of the cons generally makes for an interesting storyline.

Sentinel was never a Decepticon.

 

Shockwave. Not only would it help bridge the third & fourth (if there is one) movies with an existing Con instead of all new obscure characters coming out of nowhere, but it also could have opened the possibility of getting what we never got in DOTM: a fully characterized version of him showcasing everything many of us assumed/hoped we'd see in DOTM but never remotely got.

He would have rocked and hopefully is voiced by David Warner. What we saw was not Shockwave but his cousin SWTF Crossover Boba Fett with one eye.

People actually wanted Megatron to survive?

 

He was, kind of... He made a Deal with Megs, and killed an Autobot. So he kind of is.

 

Nope. He was definitely a villain, but he was no Decepticon. He made that pretty clear to Megatron while ripping off more of his face. He was using the Cons as a desperate means to an end, and undoubtedly would have killed as many as possible if he accomplished his goal. He truly believed that what he was doing was not wrong if it meant saving his planet & race.

 

They didn't kill there sparks so I think there not really dead .
So I hope they can rebuild them .
