I haven't gotten either yet. I'm not sure which one to get.

 

IMO I think Sideways is the better figure

 

I'll say Sideswipe, although he's the only one I own of the two; but is a very well made toy, it just looks awsome with its blades extended.

 

I think it's pretty even but if I had to choose I'd go for Sideswipe.

 

both are great, the blades and the sheer sleakness of him makes him total win....then theres the feet...not too bad.

sideways is darker, just as posable, then the feet....and the red belly, i added some silver to mine to break it up......and then theres the feet

i would have to say i like sideways more......

 

Sideswipe FTW! Despite the chest probelms everyone is complaining about that only seem 2 b on theirs he's worth it.

Sideswipe. I bought both, but its not the blades that makes him a win, its how much ingenuity in the real gear effect of the legs to torso and the knee panels that really makes him a fantastic deluxe figure.

tough choice I really enjoy both of them. I say use your own judgement for one now and get whichever one you didnt get the first time, next time you go.

Sideways. By far! Sideswipe's practically already transformed in car mode! Just turn him over and you see the legs and his arms. I just don't like how lazy of a figure he is. Sideways is a pretty fun figure. I like his transformation a whole lot better.

Plus, sideways' repaint makes the mold proud, while Swerve wishes he was a G1 Sideswipe.

 

Universe Sideswipe and Cybertron Sideways are better than both. There, I said it.

As for the movie toys, I think Sideswipe's the better figure, but he's going to look even better in red...

 

Sideswipe is better. He's just a little hard to stand up with the wheeled feet. But, then again, Sideways' tiny feet aren't any easier to pose.

 

Sideways's feet are his toes and wheels, if you can't stand him, it's your fault.

Sideways is so much better it's not even funny. His detail, transformation, pretty much everything is better. Sideswipe is good, but he has Universe Hound syndrome. He doesn't really do anything new or exciting, but he does what he does and does it well.

I only have Sideways atm... so I can't really say.

Firstly, it depends on your taste preference in styling ; both definitely differ from one another in style.

Detailing is on par for the both of them I'd say.

Transformation would probably be easier with Sideswipe. Transforming Sideways back to car mode frustrates me sometimes...and I'm not easily frustrated with transformations.

I'd say get em both. Or Sideswipe first, then save up for Sideways.

 

Im gonna agreee with everyome else and say SIDESWIPE. Although i dont hava a Sideways to compare to, Im just going to asume that if i did my opinion would stay the same.

 

Ive got both, and Sideswipe. Hands down.
