I've found myself enjoying RID more than MTMTE. I'm not 100% sure why, but I think part of it is because I like the story of uniting Cybertron over the lost ship story because we've seen that story many, many times (Homer's The Odyssey, Battlestar, Galactica, though they were not really lost, they just had no idea how to get to Earth, and Star Trek: Voyager).

I'm in the MTMTE camp. But it's not like I dislike RiD. I just like one more then the other. But both are light years ahead of what we had before with Costa.

They're both *really* good, but MTMTE gets my vote.

MTMTE is without a doubt my favourite of the two, I'm enjoying RID quite a lot as well though.

MTMTE is going to dominate this poll. RID is good too, don't get me wrong.

I like RiD. I thought I was going to like MTMTE better but it just hasn't been that interesting to me.

Both are great, but I'm more excited for MTMTE each month, while RID hasn't commanded my total attention.

    MTMTE by far.

I like RID, but doesn't capture my interest the way MTMTE does.

I like both, but I prefer MTMTE by a good margin. RID is a great series, but MTMTE keeps me more excited each month.

my main beef with MTMTE is it seems like the writing is getting a little to "cute" for it's own good ~ theirs a very fine line between clever and obnoxious... on the other hand, RID tends to have less distinctive "voices" for each character.

    Which Swerve thinks is awesome.

MTMTE for me. Honestly, this is what I want in a Transformers comic; nutcases, and nothing but.

What happened with the movies and Prime? WHAT HAPPENED!?

While RiD has its moments, MTMTE manages to avert Lost Ship and is instead a search where things go wrong on a regular basis.

I've been loving MTMTE, it is the first comic book in...almost 20 YEARS I've purchased on a regular basis.
I love the Star Trek-ian story, and they put in a WONDERFUL mix of eclectic characters, many of which are usually put to the sidelines in favor of the bigger 84-86 guys.

RiD isn't bad (in fact, it is also very good and if MTMTE wasn't around, I'd be rocking that title), but the focus on many of the same old characters with the same old conflicts (granted, with a more interesting environment) doesn't excite me as much, and the series just hasn't come off quite as fun as MTMTE.

I consider ReGeneration One part of Marvel, since it's part of that universe.
