Well, he's a movie IDW character. Showed up in the Arcee story from the Tales of the Fallen series, as well as a couple other brief appearances.

 

A movie book character created by IDW. Therefore, an IDW character.

 

He transforms into a Hover crane thingy....not a car.

But I like the idea. 

 

Nova Prime would be dope, but methinks a deluxe Alex Milne-styled Trailbreaker would be more realistic. That almost looks like a design that could be used for the FOC line.

 

Nova/ Nemesis for me! Turmoil and Sentinel Prime would be awesome too.

 

Honestly, I'm just hoping that Drift's inclusion in the Generations line can be a doorway for more comics-based characters, since they often have designs we haven't seen much, if at all, on the shelves.

Too bad Impactor isn't part of the poll. However my vote goes to Nova/Nemesis Prime, runner ups being Sentinel, Grindcore, Turmoil, and Bob.

 

With the recent developments... all be it some what more of a disappointment...I'm really hoping for an IDW style o. lord. We need this fig...after seeing it done to perfection over on the radicons thread, I now know it can be done and done well..

 

I voted for Sentinel Prime... but I'd go for a Sentinel, Nova and Turmoil!

From the pic you posted, Sentinel has a RID Prime vibe about him (at least in the face & coloration).

I'm having a really hard time deciding between Nova Prime or Bob. Hm... as awesome as Bob would be, my vote goes to Nova Prime. He has such a sweet design, and I really hope we somehow get a figure of him one day. Make it happen Hasbro!

Hell, throw on top there every design E.J. Su had a had in during the -ation series. Sunstreaker, Dodge Viper (blue/red two-tone and all) Hot Rod and the Seekers especially.

 

I'd love to see an IDW-specific line instead of Generations for a few years. Movie engineering and detailing on Classics designs, maybe a few Human Alliance-style figures, and with multipacks that included one of the graphic novels as well.
