OK, so after the combined Hercules is starting to come together, I thought this questions needed to be asked.

Which Heavy Labor hip fix did you use or are using?
    - For the poll, this is cutting it:

    - This is shaving it down:

This is a poll. To see what peoples results are. In this way, people who have not done this yet can say which works better. I just figured it was an easy way to see what is the better fix.

I did the first one. His left leg is great, but i took too much out of the right one and that is loose. It will stand, and the strength in the other joint helps counterbalance, but I'm looking forward to the official fix.

i cut mine...and it can barely hold up the weight of EX, Crank and HL himself...

maybe if he were on two legs, instead of just one, it might be fine...

    Ditto.

I think shaving the parts is better though.

Yeah, I didn't put option 5 in because I just wanted to see the results of people who did do this. I figured there would be a bunch under #5 though.

Thanks for the poll. I am still awaiting my HL from RK, even though I've already received the next two. I've been dreading this QC issue and this will be a good reference if I have any problems with mine.

I plan on cutting mine. That way I figure I'm guaranteed to remove enough material to allow the part to deflect enough. If it's too loose, I imagine I could always throw a spring in there to give it some extra resistance.

My plan if TFC doesn't provide a good fix is to do the shave method...but in addition I was going to flip the gear pieces in the legs around as it looks like only the top teeth on mine have any wear...so flipping them over should give me fresh gear teeth to work with. Not sure if that might be useful to anyone or not...

I cut mine, and it's weak. So far it is strong enough to support the weight of the figure, but if I lay herc flat, the legs move. I wouldn't quite say flop though.

WHEN I get mine I am planning on doing the shaving fix.

Can we hear from anyone who has done the shaving fix?

AL, I had to vote to see the poll so maybe a 5th option would have worked for peopel interested in the poll results. Unless there is a way to look at results without voting that I am unaware of.

Great poll btw, I am interested in knowing which works best.

Yes, there is a portion that says, view poll results, right under the poll.
