Probably WFC as it's the most affordable and available.

It's warming pegs at a lot of my local stores.

So far I have yet to see a head that does CJ the same justice the iGear head does for Kup.

Until then I have to go with the Original.

I think the devil horns kit is the most authentic to the original character IMO, so I'm voting for it b/c of that and b/c of the fact that i spent $25 on it.

Compared to FP the Devil Horns kit is way affordable. And I've seen the Devil Horns kit on a Classics CJ's body myself. It fits beautifully and it is worth the money. I'd like to pick up the Devil Horns kit myself soon if I can.

Actually, if I am honest with myself, I think the FP CP kit gets put on the throne a lot because of rarity and price. The only part that is "better engineered" is the bazooka cannon and the add on parts for his alt mode. In terms of PURELY the head, I believe the devil's horn kit actually looks better. That's my opinion anyways, irrespective of the price.

The FansProject head actually looks like it's made pretty poorly compared to any of the other options anymore. That and I've read to many horror stories about how easy the paint chips on it.

Here's what I did. I got this idea from other board members. Get the devil horns kit. Get WFC Cliffjumper. Dismantle both heads. Remove the face from both. Paint the tips of WFC CJ's light piping and and insert snugly into the back of the face. Snip excess plastic off. Place WFC face into DH head screw back together. Voila! The only drawbacks are the having to dab a bit of paint and the very top of the head isn't perfectly seemless. Honestly, to me it doesn't look any worse than a piece of light piping on any other figure. The painting and snipping steps I have skipped for now because I don't have the paint. As you're putting it together it will look like it won't won't go together enough to cover the large round hole directly above the face. It will. Enjoy!

Also, be careful with unscrewing the WFC head. For some reason the screw wanted to shred when I was trying to use my precision screwdrivers. Oddly enough, it was my girlfriend who was able to remove it for me. Which made me chuckle. I'm not a big guy by any means but I work construction.

Ok, let's bring up a few things:

1.) It's funny that u bring an especially good picture of the devil horns kit (which does NOT look like that in hand, bc the paint apps on the face look like complete shit) and an especially bad picture of the CJ kit. I own both, and I haven't even bothered to put the goddamned DH head ON one of my CJs bc even the stock head looks better.

2.) It's also funny that u bring in price... not everyone's cheap or shops on the basis of price over quality/completeness.

3.) I'm with Exomega for the most part. As a complete kit, the FP kit owns the shit outta DH, but, in terms of the head, I don't personally prefer either. I'm actually going to do the tutorial in the Radicons for using the skit set to consturct a head because that's above and beyond anything I've even seen. I think that head with the rest of the FP kit will finally be a "perfect" CJ.

Anyways, everyone has their preferences, but mine definitely lies with the FP kit.

Maybe it looks like shit on yours, but mines perfect - must be a QC issue.

Now that's a pretty silly statement - are you saying those of us who didn't see fit to waste $200+ on an add on kit are 'cheap'?

Each to their own, but there's no need to belittle those of us who are sensible with our budgets...

It's not a QC issue, it's a difference of opinion, and your statement makes it seem like you're not willing to accept people with different opinions than yours.

Let that be a personal problem, and don't drag me into it.

I didn't call one person cheap. That's like me saying, "Are you calling me unsensible with my budget?" without knowing me or anything about how I live and what I do?

What you call a "waste of $200" I call a nice way to spend a few extra dollars to update a toy in a way that I see fit.

Once again. Difference of opinion. I don't post what I do, how much I make, or the ACTUAL expensive stuff (for me) that I spend my money on, because that's nothing but pointless bragging, however I feel blessed to be able to spend money like that with no financial second-thought while still being able to provide a nice home and lifestyle for my fiance and myself.

People have different lives, jobs, incomes, and opinions. Welcome to reality, and get over any insecurity you personally have, because honestly it's offensive to say something isn't expensive to ME and be came at like I made a statement about ANYone else.

So, with that, it was you that has the silly (and unfounded) statement. Not me. Get out off my monitor with that bullshit man.

    Back to point:

Flux - That looks like an awesome job painting WFC Cliffy's helmet to match the classics color! I love it.

Without any modification? Probably the Devil Horns set, despite the blank face. Ideally, I imagine a composite of the original face in the Horns' helmet would look the most convincing.
