I'd like to get the SDCC version. I'd also like a million dollars and a trip to Europe, but there's no way in hell I'm gonna be able to afford that, so it's retail for me.

SDCC, but I'll be buying at retail. The $25 savings+Target red card discount+no shipping means I'll live with the retail Energon color scheme.

Ideally I'd love to have at least 2 different color schemes to mix and match or troop build squads though.

I'm going to try to snag an SDCC from HTS, assuming none of my friends is going to SDCC in person (which doesn't look likely, considering I and most of my friends are on the east coast). If that falls through, I'll try to grab the G2 version; much as I did appreciate realizing the neon retail colors are an Energon homage, if I'm going the garish-neon route anyway, I may as well commit to the idea, and given G2 is pretty much the granddaddy of garish neon, I feel that's a suitable commitment.

Without question G2. Had the limbs as a child, so I have a soft spot for that scheme.

    It's G2 for me too.

I'd get the SDCC, but that thing is gonna be a pain to get hold of in the UK/very, very pricey.

let me know if you get one to sell here.

i'll do my best to get the SDCC version but that's mainly because of the accurate Vortex and Blast Off and the boxart. but i'll settle for retail if i must. one way or another though, i am NOT having a purple and yellow Blast Off or a purple and red Vortex so if i have to get the retail versions, i'll have to learn how to customize

Great minds think alike. Hopefully they get to Battle Gaia as well.

G2 Bruticus was my first attempt at completing a combiner as a kid. Never did find Onslaught and Vortex, though. Still, I always had a great time playing Combaticons vs. Jurassic Park as a child...

That said, I'll always have a soft spot for G2 Bruticus. I'll gladly pay $300+ just to have any sort of update of my favorite character in G2 colors.

If my finances are favorable, then SDCC all the way... way more convenient and awesome. If not, then Fruiticus will do just fine.

I'd like to have the SDCC version, but I'll probably only get the retail version.  I'd love to have the G2 colors too though. Anything but the retail colors, but I do need more Decepticons, and a combiner to fight my Landfill will be awesome! :D

Whichever presents itself to me first I'll get. Probably will be retail.

I would like to have the SDCC version if possible but ig not I may or may not settle either of the other options. More than likely it will be the retail version.

Whichever one becomes available first, but most preferably the G2 version. I have most of the limbs of the original G2 set. In fact, my current 'classic' Bruticus is a Frankenstein's monster consisting of Original Swindle, G2 Blast Off, G2 Vortex, G2 Brawl, and Mega Octane.

He makes one funny looking Bruticus.

Although I have to say the colors of Retail Onslaught and Retail Blast Off make me consider getting those at the very least even if I do end up with another version. Maybe that'll be the new Frankenstein's monster.

Also not to be a party pooper but, given the overall smaller scale of FOC Wave 1, I expect the Combaticons to form a smaller than expected Bruticus unfortunately unless Wave 1's reduced size was a one off.

The good one, aka the mass release colors.
