Which film has the cooler, more memorable cast of Decepticons to you?

Which cast made more of an impression upon you, and why?

How about your friends or significant others?

    THE ORIGINAL:

    Megatron
    Starscream
    Bonecrusher
    Barricade
    Blackout
    Brawl
    Frenzy
    Scorponok

    REVENGE OF THE FALLEN:

    Soundwave
    The Fallen
    Megatron
    Starscream
    Ravage
    Devastator
    Demolishor
    Alice
    Sideways
    Scalpel/The Doctor
Blackout/Grindor--I don't think even they know for sure who we were looking at
    Scorponok cameo
    Constructicons/Constructicon Clones
    Random Drones

The original, if only because they weren't used as cannon fodder with no characterization whatsoever.

    Also, Barricade rocked.

Why is the 1986 film not included? Are you trying to act like it does not exist?

My vote goes for the 1986 Film.

ROTF, because Megatron was a lot more Megatron and Starscream was more Starscream. Also Soundwave kicks all ass.

they kinda were, though. Brawl, Blackout, Barricade, even Starscream...

At least in ROTF the cannon fodder was quite clearly cannon fodder and the one's with characterization were abound.

Hey man, we all love the 1986 film. I wanted to compare the 2 live action films, if that's cool with you? ;)

ROTF. It's got Soundwave, Wheelie (for a time as a Con, anyways), Devestator (who doesn't do much but is pretty terrifying anyways), and all the guys who survived TF1 minus Barricade. Oh, and The Fallen, can't froget half the title.

Fair enough the topic was misleading...

    *sad face*

To answer your question though TF2 wins over TF1

I mean you had the REAL Dev and not that tank thing in TF1.

I personally had to go with the original, because:

I think the first one got more for my buck. Awesome, amazing scenes with Blackout, Bonecrusher, Scorponok, and Barricade.

The second one has great scenes with Megatron and Starscream, no doubt. Ravage was cool too, and I loved seeing my alltime favorite Soundwave in a live action movie.

But although we got a greater AMOUNT of Decepticons, what I think would have been cooler is if we had gotten more SCREENTIME with a smaller AMOUNT of Decepticons.

So rather than a bunch of nameless drones blowing up, we would have seen longer, more unique fights with individual Decepticons.

Yeah, I almost included it, but decided to compare just the live-action ones together, since the 1986 is kind of a different universe.

Even though Bonecrusher and Barricade were in the first, I have to say ROTF. The general bad-assery of the Decepticons was more then the first, much more imposing. Even though they did get killed.
