Which Fantastic 4 book should I get?

    I'm thinking of starting to read F4. But I can't decide if I should start reading the 616 version or Ultimate F4. Which is better? Or should I get Ultimate Spidey instead of both?

    Ultimate Spider-Man. There hasn't been a bad issue yet. Brian Bendis is the single best writer in comics today, followed closely by Geoff Johns.

    Thanks Dev. I'll pick up the latest Ultimate Spidey tomorrow when I head to the comic shop.

    man, topugh choice. If it wa sduring Waid's run on FF, I would say that. But with JMS, it's just not as interesting yet. Ultimate FF is good but the creative changes hold the book back. Doom was the best arc so far. Ultimate Spidey is however a perfect book. Never a dull issue.

    However, you may want to get a few issues ago rather than the most recent. Issue 5 of the current story just came out and you'll most likely be lost.
