So which ending do you think is cooler, the movie ending or the video game ending (either Autobot or Decepticon ending)?

I'm a fan of the good guys winning even though I guess its cliche, but hey thats just me. So I thought the Autobot ending was bad@$$ and would have made the movie rock like 20 times more.

 

Prime was such a pussy in the movie's final battle. If the Autobot game ending had been the real ending and been shown in theaters, I would've jumped out of my seat when Megatron just popped out with his mace.

 

of course, on the other hand we all would have already seen it on one of the trailers because most everyone fantastically awesome action scene was shown in trailer. Except for the decapitation of Bonecrusher.

Scorched earth ftw. I guess the autobot ending was decently cool too, although physics and timing wise, for it to work, Megs would literally have to have been floating in slow motion for Prime to grab the swinging mace, yank megs forward, and pull his fist back to grab the allspark and smash megs with it all in the time it took megs to jump at him.

It DID look cool, though.

 

Yeah, the whole timing of it and prior events could be changed around to make it fit in the movie, I've not got to beat the game for the 'Cons but I'm sure its cool.

 

I wish they had shown more of the ruined earth in the Con's ending. I hope they show alternate endings on the DVD

 

From what I've read, they were pretty well over budget, so i doubt they had the money to make alternate endings. But that would have been a really cool feature for the dvd.

 

I like the movie ending just because it wraps things up and leaves it on a happy note.
But based purely on coolness, the Decepticon game ending was pretty cool. Megatron was brutal.
All the Autobots except for Prime are dead. Prime is beaten and on the ground, crawling slowly. Megatron walks over calmly and pulls out his hand-mace. Swings it around, and from Prime's point of view we see it hit him. Quick glitchy flashbacks and then darkness. Megatron merges with the Allspark, apparently giving him a huge power boost. Cut to the future and shots of Washington DC in ruins. In darkness, Megatron sits where the stone Lincoln once did. Surrounded by his fellow decepticons, he tells them that theyre done with this world and its time to move on.
Doesnt that just sound AWESOME?

 

For the movie? I hope Bay has the heart to give us special features in the DVD

I think Prime is dead, unless you mean he's the only Autobot left after Megs kills him. I wonder what happens to Ratchet...

 

I meant that at that point in the narrative, Prime was still alive, but then Megatron kills him.

 

I'm sure that there will be plenty of special features and scenes already filmed. At most its probably gonna be like 15, if we're lucky 20 minutes of extra footage. Bay doesn't seem like the kind of direct to give us another hours worth of film, plus they probably didn't have the budget to make an extra hour of movie and not use it.

Although the decepticon ending was brutal, the autobot ending would have been awesome as just a way for the movie to end!

 

I have not seen the Decepticon ending of the game. Aside from that, I must be the only one to prefer the movie ending.
