If you wanted the best quality and feature go for the Tranformers Movie - HD release

Else, for a standard DVD only - Go for the 2disc Special Edition

If they would have done a Combo HDDVD/DVD version I probably would have bought that. But when I break and get a HDDVD Player for the Star Trek Remaster set I'll get TF as well.

I'm not too sure. Do they have the Best Buy edition in Canada? (I don't have or see the need for a Blu-ray/HD DVD player, my DVD drive or player will suffice)

I got the 2-disc Transforming case, actually I bought 5 of them since they are sold out everywere, I grabbed as many as I could. I will keep 2, one opened and one sealed and sell the other three and actually make a profit.

It's funny reading all the posts on the first couple pages about folks really wanting that Wal-Mart prequel disc... as did I. And sure enough I went to my local Wally World the morning of release and bought it. When I got home and watched it I couldn;t believe what a piece of crap it was. I gave it to my 8 year old nephew (who is also nuts about TF's) and he could barely make it 5 minutes in... can't blame him.
