Bots or Cons? i have more cons because i like the idea of having a hord of cons and a small battalion of bots. how about you??
Autobots. I have to do things like display the Hasbro Seekers behind my Henkei ones, have 3 Sweeps behind Scourge, and have a second Cyclonus to be a character seen for only a second... Just to pad out my Decepticon ranks.
i only have movie verse figs, and i dont count other versions of the same character. i guess you could though.
seems like most people balance the bots by buying multiples of cons to army build, ala Scourge, Cyclonus, Seekers
I have no idea anymore, especially since I have so many different lines. I stopped trying to keep track a few months after I started collecting back in '06.
it's a little more even now than when I was a kid, since I merged the Decepticons in one army (CHUGRTS, Movie, A/E/C, a few reissues) under the command of Henkei Megatron. Before my old collection was dispersed, I only had a few Decepticons (Megatron, who by the time my collection was ripped away by parents was replaced by Baron Karza as leader, though I didn't know it was Baron Karza at the time), Starscream, Ramjet, Soundwave, the Constructicons, the Insecticons, Blitzwing, the Battlechargers, and that Convertors Tarantula. (When I was younger, I took what I could get)
More 'bots I think. Not a conscious decision, that's just the way it panned out, but it just makes the Cons that bit more special - they're so badass they don't need numbers on their side. That said, I'd describe my collection as having more than a healthy dose of both anyway!
