I'd go with default for the screen accurate car mode. I wanted it but I dont either one can top the HFTD one
Personally I feel you should consider keeping The Nitro One and consider it a lesson in deciding what you want in advance next time. (He does look good in car mode decorated with guns and such anyway) And I beg everyone who also considers opening things - fiddling with them for a day and returning them because your bored - to just stop already ! People who take things back for frivolous reasons increase toy prices for all.
If you can wait, I'm sure we will see a repaint or two at SDCC. I'm in the same boat, not sure which one to get, but there are enough on the pegs to wait and see if anything better is coming down the line.
Honestly, I'm impressed with them all. I say buy various ones. That's beating a dead horse my friend. Better to not touch it at all.

I guess I should have been more specific: when I said I had Nitro in-hand, I meant in a sealed package with the receipt taped to it and I was debating whether I should open it tonight or wait until the morning so that I could exchange it for another figure.
Cyberfire is definitely the only DOTM Bee I'm after right now. That is, unless by some sheer luck, Hasbro decides that a redeco of the BBBB mold is required, that's how it's probably going to stay. (That and Battle Ops are about the only older BB molds that have not seen one redeco this time around.)
Sorry - I just see RED when people do what I said. a pet peeve of mine. Didn't mean to sound so aggressive. I agree the Black Bumblebee (a little but above) is the most interesting. but you could always buy one now and get another one later in a sale. or stick with The Nitro one and get the black one when he's more widely available (which won't be for a good while yet) Many people say that they like the Nitro Bee but that t's less impressive in robot mode than the standard DOTM version - the black one appeals to me personally as it's such a neato colour and does not look like most other Bee's it's also a fitting colour for a character who does with the space bridge and the consequences of that act what he does in the trailing moments of the DOTM movie. Looks like it complements the darker coloured repaint Voyager Optimus too - but i'd totally understand if anyone wanted a screen accurate colour instead. As I said before I think the Nitro Bee is great in car mode and is nice to have a space mission Bee - stick some giant engines on him for a giggle to make a space going jet pack - or cover him in guns (like Topspin's) as he's got all those 5mm ports he'd deck out with weapons real well. Personally I quite like the Walmart/Sainsbury's '84 Rally Bee though simply for the balance of grey & black in robot mode and the car deco. [I wonder if they can tweak the mould to get rid of those Nascar nets and leave BB with windows in car mode in the future] or if they might tweak the preview/2007 Bumblebee to give it a nose spoiler and better head from the ROTF and the rear Spoiler of the DOTM one - that would be quite cool toy then. They've already modded a bit to secure the shoulders in place - they could make a brand new Mech-tech weapon that fits between his back legs instead of the cannon/sword - and it's not so far removed from what they've done many times already.
DOTM Bee's arms are sooo much better than the Battle Blade version. I just wonder if you can swap various parts with bits of Cyberfire BB like black heels/feet.
Default. It's the most similar mold to battle blade BB which is the best BB. Although the default is a bit shorter and lacks most of the perks that came with battle blades.
