Like the name pretty much implies, which do you recommend based on ownership of one or both? Based on categories of quality, play factor(as in, something I will handle a bit, however is for an adult collector and I dont want it to break the first time I do something with it), and overall coolness.

Go with Optimus. I just find him much more unique than Warbot.

well strictly speaking neither are customs as both are produced in numbers. to a Custom is a one of a kind item modified to the owner/purchasers desires such as our fine radicons produce.

I own both and I would go with KMC Prime.

    Here's a few reasons...

    1. It's Prime
    2. It's a great a homage to G1 Prime (From appearance to transformation)
    3. IMO it has a higher fun factor as a toy (It even has a functional cab that turns into a canon!)
    4. It's the introductory toy produce by Mastermind Creations (Hopefully they will produce more characters from HOS)
    5. It has a lot of accessories, such as a lance, shield, canon, multiple hand, etc.

KMC is just BAD ASS if you ask me!

Going by the inventory at BBTS, I would get Defender (first).

    Defender stock: 0
    Knight Morpher stock: 183

I own both. I can ramble on about KMC, I can do the same about Defender.

But in all seriousness, flip a coin.

    They are both that good.

Some retailers are beginning to jack up the prices on warbot and Prime so whatever your going to do, make that decision fast.

KMC all the way. I have both and find KMC to be much more fun to mess with.

Defender, no contest. Not only was my KMC's QC... questionable, to say the least, but I'm just having a lot more fun with Defender.

I have both and like them pretty evenly. I voted Springer for two reasons:
    A) Springer is becoming pretty rare
    B) You can just drop Springer in with your existing Classics. Knight Morpher on the other hand is a "One off" and is a loner due to his aesthetic.

In time get both, but get Springer first.

It really depends on your taste in toys.

Warbot is a very solidly made transformer that is supposed to reflect upon everything a triple-changer can do. He fits into your classics collection, and is a good toy playability wise. However, his lack of heel support as well as him not being very "unique" to some people asthetic-wise, may put you off. That saying unique means a totally new take on the character.

Knight Morpher, on the other hand, is meant as a display piece. Some of the joints are very tight, making it a little nerve-wracking to play with him. Although playing with it is doable, breakage of parts would be a problem until you got used to the feel of the toy. However, the whole steampunk transformer asthetic is very cool and original, and may appeal to fans of a different era of transformers.

So, up to you. I, however, would suggest Knight Morpher.
