Im looking for springer to go in my classics collection wit Rodimus and Magnus. Which one do you all think is a better representation of the character?

have to Fansproject Warbot Defender is by far the best,by virtue that he's a true triple changer, and beautifully made. Universe Springer is alright, but not great.

Warbot, a third party toy, is a true updating of the character, but it's super expensive. If you have to choose between the Botcon one, or the Target exclusive, I'd choose the latter, since he's a copter.

Warbot is an overpriced joke. Very poor design IMO. Just wait. Hasbro will get to it eventually.

Thank god someone else believes THIS^^^^^^

Warbot really is a joke. At least until Hasbro gets around to a proper one just pick up the Universe 2.0 Helicopter Springer form the 2-pack, it works perfectly fine

Warbot Defender if you've got that kind of money. The copter Springer isn't bad and is much cheaper if you wanna go that route.

Really? I find he has more articulation in 1 arm than most deluxes have period. He tips over but thanks to member process, that is no longer a problem. I also love the die cast.

Warbot is a great toy but I find the headsculpt is a little off, although it's not as terrible as City Commander's.

I'm shocked at this. I get if you don't like it, but a joke? And a poor design? Any of its three modes look more like the intended vehicles/bot than the official triple changers can claim.

Anyway, I'd say Defender if you can afford it, and if not.. use a Legend as a stand-in until they do a proper deluxe/voyager. I don't think either the Botcon or the 2-pack versions are that great as they're not triple changers.

Well, by the criteria that I go by, he falls far short of the hype. I don't think the added articulation helps. I've often been able to get better poses out of figures with more restricted articulation.

the headsculpt for some reason reminds me of Shia LaBeouf. I quite like FP's stylised headsculpts, but the character they convey isn't always how I had it in mind.

I don't like Warbot at all. the body design does nothing for me (especially the legs and head) and it doesn't really resemble the character all that much.

I'm just waiting for Hasbro to do a new one as a true triple changer. I'm sure they will.

warbot or nothing, imo. universe springer is a joke, looks nothing like him besides being green, and nor does botcon springer.

someone should take side by side pic of all 3 for him and let that be that. I dont have botcon springer, or I would.

I've got a hunch that we'll be getting a new Springer from Hasbro. A lot of the RTS and Generations Autobots are either Wreckers or are from the 86 movie.

Either way, Springer is part of the mix.

    1. Warbot (not perfect, but a clear update on Springer)
    2. Universe 2.0 Evac redeco (Springer colors on one of my favorite Cybertron molds...and I identify a helicopter more with Springer than the ground vehicle anyways)
    3. Botcon (not my favorite mold anyways, and not big on the colors used)

Hopefully Hasbro will get to him eventually.
