I've devoted a shelf to just Unicron and his G1 minions, but I can't decide which of my Cyclonus figures should be "Cyclonus" and the other his armada. Should the main Cyclonus be the Uniiverse 2.0 release, of the more screen accurate RST release? Which would you pick?

 

universe 2.0 , just because i like the darker color.

 

No doubt, RTS. Make the Universe version And his Armada. It's how I have mine in front of Unicron.

 

Universe. The darker color speaks "leader" to me a lot easier than a pastel colored one does.

 

Rts,even though I don't have the original,the Rts version is superior

I have the one that looks like the 'RTS' one but has a proper faction symbol (was it from Battle in space?) as the Character Cyclonus.
I have Both the Orginal Universe2.0 and Henkei ones serving as 'his Armada'.

This reminds me I have to buy 5 more Scourges (Sweeps).

 

RTS. Sure, you have to pay 20.00 for it, but the Matrix, Nightstick, and the Comic book add up.


Oh, and you get a free Rodimus with it.

I like rub symbols on "classics", gives it that extra bit of Geewun-yness IMHO. And another reason RtS Cyclonus is my pick. (maybe not so OT after all, lol.)

 

Universe. I think it looks way better than the pastel cartoon colored RTS version. Plus, given how different Galvatron & Scourge now look design wise, I see no need to aim for "screen accuracy" with Cyclonus. Just my two cents tho.

 

I'm definitely in the minority, but I use Universe Cyclonus. I just prefer the darker color scheme.

 

darker looks nicer though i use my spare for the ship galvatron gets off unicron lol

I'm in the Universe camp as well. I like the darker, more toy-esque color scheme, and I think that when put in a trio with Galvatron and Scourge, the darker purple and grey complement the other figures better.
