By CLASSIC I mean G1 Seasons 1, 2, & 3, TF The Movie, and Beast Wars (Including Beast Machines).

I'm not so much versed on the TF comics universe, but as far as the TV timelines go, which ones do you accept into your personal taste for the classic TF line?

I, for example, subscribe to the notion of TF's being Season 1 and Season 2 and TF The Movie. For me, it's over after TF The Movie. I can't stand Season 3, and I never truly got into Beast Wars (Why is Optimus a gorilla?!) except for the few episodes when direct reference to G1 Season 1 were used, and I did develop an affinity for the Silverbolt/BlackArachnia courtship.

So, are you like me, and only subscribe to G1 Seasons 1 & 2 through the Movie?

Or All of G1, Seasons 1,2, The Movie, AND Season 3?

JUST Beastwars? (I know lots of TF Fans who had never even heard of the G1 Series, but had grown up specifically on Beast Wars alone)

    Or all of the above?

G1 is just a mishmash of the original comic, cartoon, and DW comic for me. Followed by BW/BM, and everything else.

All of animated G1 (seasons 1, 2, 3 & 4 + Movie), Beast Wars & Beast Machines. For me the G1 universe is completed with the last episode of Beast Machines.

Wow, I guess I'm getting old since I don't consider BW/BM classic yet. But I'm a G1 cartoon fanatic, with some comic goodness (Marvel, DW and IDW) mixed in for my personal timeline.

This question is near impossible to answer, as G1 has like 800 different continuities. I like IDW's version best so far, but they almost lost me after "All Hail Megatron"

I'm a Marvel Comics Saga kind of guy, but in terms of the cartoon alone, I really only consider the US cartoons (e.g. seasons 1-3 and "Rebirth") as significant to me. I am reluctant to associate the mess that is the cartoon with the word "continuity" though!!

I used to hate BeastWars until I actually watched it. It is now one of my favorites.

Beast Wars is the most "personal" Transformers series to me, so I suppose I'll go with that.

I'd like to see an exceptionally talented writer come in and create an all-encompassing story that reconciles all the timelines into one (G1, BW, BM, RiD, AEC, Movies, TFA). Like a giant "Secret Wars"-style threat that pulls all of these different Primes, Megatron, and armies together into one timeline.

Personally I like to believe it's all one timeline anyway, we just don't understand how it all fits together.

I am all about the shows. All of G1 (movie included), BW and BM. The japanese stuff plus the movies are stand alones.

Animated I view as a stand aloen as well. Sort of like the new Star Trek. I view the universe to be the same as G1 but the timelien is totally different.

    Thanx
