I'm talking about figures that are being out classed in areas like design, scale, possibility, etc...

To me the one that stands out the most is Classics Rodimus. Just having him next to more recent figures like RTS Jazz on my shelf, he just kind of looks awkward. Sure you can get Protector to upgrade him but most people just don't have the cash for that.

What figures would you like to see "redone" so to speak?

Rodimus. He is too short and he could be more posable and less chunky.

And I'd like to see a new Earth-mode Optimus and Megatron. But only if they are not shorter than their WFC counterparts. If so... then automatically pass.

I'll agree with Rodimus, although is car mode is a beast.

Grimlock is also in need of a new figure... but we're actually GETTING one with the FoC version.

Grimlock. I won't even accept the new one unless it can stand up straight in dinosaur mode.

Ironhide and Ratchet NEED new voyager figures, if Hasbro can make the Inferno mold so amazing I'm sure they can do something for these guys.

Also this is probably going into pushing it category but I really want an Ultra class Prime and Megatron so they can scale better with the larger classics guys, and yes after reading idw comics for a while a new Hot Rod is a must.

The Decepticon jets, but we are getting in January, only other ones are Ratchet (impossible to find) Rodimus and I think that's it, classics Grimlock is a great figure i don't understand the hate he gather just because he doesn't transform like he did in G1, if you want the tail dragger, go get a masterpiece, you will not be disappointed.

Galvatron was a piece of garbage. I also think the prowl mold had it's problems...those doors are pains in the butt.

The Starscream mold. I want to see nerds rage when TC gets short packed and Skywarp ends up a con exclusive.

JetFire.... but then I'd say he wasn't that good a toy to start with.

Grimlock is getting an FOC toy so really he's got a replacement.

the seekers are dated but outside of some tweeks not much else can be done.

Riddie I actually like his arms are limited but IMO its still a cool toy.

BUT do I want them to have new toys?.... not so sure judging by the new hollow syndrome.

I would have said Ironhide and Ratchet also. Something about that mold never clicked with me. But a new Megatron would be awesome. The classics Megs was outstanding, but I think there is room for improvement.

We need a new G1 Prime, a new Hotrod, and a new Ironhide/Ratchet.

Yes and of course Galvatron. Larger and better mold. No fucking tank. Place him under FoC Banner if you like if it justifies him being a Cybertronian Howitzer.

prowl and sunstreaker molds, fiddly and in prowl's case, just fragile garbage. the G1 mold is better in almost every way, looks, detail, paint apps, accuracy, only thing the universe figure does better is posability

I think that many of the basic molds, like the Datsuns and the Seekers, really can't be improved upon all that much. I mean, aside from some armatures and more complicated certain complexities, the MP-11 mold isn't that far off from the Deluxe Seeker mold. You don't want them to add unnecessary complexity and make the figures "off", so aside from a better choice of altmode, many of the Classics guys can't done any better.

I want a genuine update to the G2 Megatron design. Not the Bludgeon repaint, not the one-handed thing from the two-pack. But a figure inspired by the very articulated G2 Hero Megatron, with a proper big shoulder cannon (that could, ideally, be mounted on the arms if someone wanted), and c-joint integration. Ideally it would be in the same scale as RtS Laser Prime. Could be painted in "classic" G2 green & purple or purple & black, "jungle" camo (green, brown, black), or even G1 style (grey, black, white).

A better Galvatron is also important.

They are done with classics figures. All we get are repaints. Almost makes me want to rant.

    That said.

We need Galvatron Voyager , Ironhide Voyager , Cliffjumper (G1 Deco) , Ultra Magnus ..... I could go on and on.
