I want to see G1 Wheeljack, FOC Hound, and G1 Bumblebee.
some guys who have never received the modern (chug) treatment
- brawn, cosmos, hoist, trailbreaker, gears, huffer, blitzwing
Im guessing WFC Bumblebee is not G1 enough for you? lol
Cosmos would be awesome. Since we are wishing, I want a Huffer and Pipes.
I want toys of the whole Dinobot & Insecticon teams. Well I did want Combaticons too, but those were brought out all together out of necessity(for Bruticus), so I'm cool with that. Love that G2 deco anyway.
G1 Wheeljacks design always intrigued me, I'd love to see it in toy form.
I've always wanted to own a set of G1 seekers in their Cybertronian jet modes. Triangle seeker fleet FTW.
The Throttlebots, the Technobots, the Monsterbots, the Terrocons, Devcon, Jhiaxus, Rook, Tap-Out, Glyph, Squadron-X are some characters I wouldn't mind in cybertronian forms.
Beat me to it.
And I'd say the entire G1 cast, and anyone in the Classiverse lineup.
Titanium not good enough for ya?
Hound, the Predacons, Jetstorm, Silverbolt, and Blitzwing (Animated take, not G1)
Springer if they make it a triple changer.
"Which characters do you like to see get the Cybertronian treatment?"
Hmm...I'm going to answer this question literally, because I think it's more interesting than the implied question, "which characters WOULD you like to see get the Cybertronian treatment?"
Basically, I have one collection. I'll set aside a bit of space for the good WfC/FoC figures that I already have Classics versions of, but I'd prefer to mix-and-match "Earth" and "Cybertronian" characters in one massive G1 collection. So which characters are most appropriate to be done as Cybertronian-mode toys?
Well, let's start with examples. Shockwave is the archetypical perfect character for a Cybertronian mode, because he has never canonically taken an Earth mode. An Earth-mode Shockwave would be an interesting bit of "what-if," but he would feel pretty different from the space-gun that terrorized Earth back in Marvel #5. The Wreckers were also an inspired choice, because they've only hit Earth for quick commando missions where disguise was not a priority. Ultra Magnus is fun to see in Cybertronian mode because even though he usually appears in Earth-mode, he usually isn't in the role of an infiltrator.
I can branch out though. As we know, alt-modes that imply massive amounts of size-changing or seem "outdated" are not in vogue, whereas same-size vehicles are. Rather than stretching the definition of the character with a totally new alt-mode, just say they kept their utilitarian Cybertronian mode. So I like that Megatron, Soundwave, and Blaster have Cybertronian-type Generations figures.
I also can dig it when there is a story reason for characters to have different modes. For instance, at the beginning of the movie, Bumblebee, Cliffjumper, and Jazz were assigned to Cybertron. Though they were still drawn in Earth modes, one can imagine that at the start of Season 3 they had Cybertronian ones instead. So a fun Season 3 collection could be those three plus all the Earth-mode guys like Rodimus, Kup, and Blurr.
So I like to see characters that canonically spend all or most of their time away from Earth to have Cybertronian modes. Characters that I kind of wish had been done as Cybertronian include Drift, Perceptor, and Straxus. Conversely, with a few exceptions I tend to think Autobots that were on the Ark should have Earth modes.
Hound from MTMTE and Tetrajets
I want a fleet of deluxe seekers.
You would think Hasbro would have done them by now.
Motormaster,Constructicons with alt mode similar to the ones in "The war within".
Tracks,as flying car.
Animated Bumblebee,Bulkhead,Prowl,Ultra Magnus,Sentinel Prime, & ect.
Pretty half of WFC/FOC.
Separate names with a comma.
