It was a big surprise for me when I found out that Barricade was going to be in the game.

 

Yeah probably a Wal-Mart exclusive lol.

Air Raid.

I have no idea why out of the Aerialbots (other than Silverbolt) they chose him over say Slingshot, who actually had somewhat more of a personality in the old cartoon.

Air Raid was nothing but background fodder. Though maybe it's nice they're trying to put someone else in the spotlight.

 

I'm honestly surprised at most of the roster, except the mainstays (Optimus, Bumblebee, Ratchet, Ironhide, Megatron, Soundwave, and the Seekers)

slightly off topic, is it just me or does anyone else think it's a little odd that the entire autobot team is either primarily red or white, except bumblebee? can we get a little color in there? maybe some blue or green?

 

The Autobot roster seems to take a lot after the movie roster.

 

I was surprised that Brakedown made it in.

 

Acree and Sideswipe. I didn't think those two would have a chance at all.

 

I think a lot of that is because of the reddish glow in the seams the Autobots have. But if they want to add Tracks Hound or cosmos I wouldn't complain. Cosmos could even still be saucer mode he picked up in one of his journeys! Lol

 

Warpath and micromaster Barricade. Warpath simply because of how he's got Skids-level appearance time (not to mention a rediculous design) and Barricade simply because they went with the Micromaster instead of the movie bot.

Not that I'm complaining, namely because Warpath looks the best he's ever been now his chest doesn't stick out lie a clothesline and Barricade being the micromaster is nice to draw upon the micromasters.

 

Barricade surprised me the most. The Aerialbots and Brakedown were minor surprises.

I'm really shocked Mirage wasn't in the roster, considering he is the pinnacle scout.

 

yeah i am a bit dissapointed that motormaster isnt in the PS3/360/ PC Version he is in the DS Version but i would have loved to see him on the console.

 

Mirage would be an incredible character for some DLC. It only makes sense.

 

I was shocked about Air Raid... I think it's a cool add on- great design!!

To me, Sideswipe is the original G1 Hot Rod. So if you're doing a game and you want a scrappy character with "attitude," he's a natural choice that isn't as polarizing.

 

Yep sideswipe is cheetor in hard red candy shell.

Omg! I am so building a spotted swiper named Cheetor. Haha. Or call him Cheater so it's less "earthy"
