Sideswipe for me. I honestly didn't think the guy had a chance.

 

Well, Sideswipe has proven to be an enduring fan favorite, so it didn't surprise me much. I was somewhat more surprised at the devs' choice of making Aerialbots and a Stunticon pre-Earth characters. It makes more sense than G1, but doesn't synch up to it.

All in all, the most surprising single character had to be Warpath. I mean, he had what, ten minutes of G1 screen time? A mini-car class tank toy that looked incredibly silly in design? Of course, needing a soldier Autobot necessitated it, but it still surprised me. And they did a damn nice job updating his look.

 

on sideswipe I figured he would be there. but not looking like he does. he's this awesome looking cybertron speedster in red with a very Classic face and features! I figured he's wind up silver with an octopus on his head.

as for warpath! I will be sitting in front of the TV going WHAM BLAM! pure slagging win!

 

Warpath surprised me. Great job by High Moon on that one!

 

Warpath, Barricade, and Demolishor

 

I did not see Barricade coming, and I thought it was really cool they used the micromaster, as opposed to the movie.

 

it was arcee that made me say "wow!!!"

I'm pretty convinced Sideswipe and Barricade (even if the former is G1 inspired here) were included as a direct result of the movies. If this weren't the case, Sunstreaker would be there too. Not that I mind; they're both good additions. Hopefully we'll get Prowl as DLC.

 

Yeah I can't believe Arcee made it over Prowl.  

 

Armada Demolisher... that was out or the blue

 

Grimlock, Warpath, And Barricade.

I thought they were just sticking to the major classic characters like Prime and Ironhide.

 

Demolisher, Barricade and Slipstream though Barricade and Slipstream didn't surprise me as much as Demolisher since he opened the door. However, for me, Demolisher sticks out like a sore thumb, maybe it's his coloring, but he doesn't seem like he fits into this game with all the other characters, but he is in a mode all to itself, so...

 

I agree, out of all the characters selected, Demolisher was brilliant as a surprise choice! I never expected to see him included.

I also certainly did not expect either Arcee or Slipstream. I'm thilled that both were selected, and I hope that they both survive the game's story: I want toys of both of them!   The same goes for Demolisher, I woulnd't mind having a Classics styled figure.

I was also pleasantly surprised about the inclusion of Warpath. He's one of my favorites, and it's nice to see the character is still remembered, between this game and Animated.  

Now for a character I want to see included: Sunstreaker. Seriously, I'm somewhat tired of seeing Sideswipe without his brother; they did it with the movie, and I don't want to see it done here.

 

Warpath. Didn't think the 'bot with tourettes would get in.  

 

Just goes to show that even if you have a disability like tourettes you can still be included.

 

Barricade was the big turn-up for me. He'd have been my last guess at inclusion. But I'm glad to see the obscure characters included.

 

Steaker and Mirage are still on one of the moons hunting turbo foxes.


And you guys realize that warpath had new hi tech voice activated weapons? It's the precursor to the transformation command codes from beast wars.

 

Def. Barricade, Demolishor and Slip-Stream. Hopefully we'll see Wheeljack and some other seekers while we still got a month left
