Apart from Prime  

Mine is Ironhide - great character sadly missed from the remaining season of the toon  

 

Wheeljack. As he deserved the honour of dying on screen rather than off it.

 

you guys already hit the nail on the head-- my answer is ironhide and wheeljack. both guys had so much character. ironhide brutally met his end, and to see wheeljack's physical damage tore me up.

however, i wish we got to see huffer meet his demise. he was a little whiney punk

 

Hmm... I'd have to say it's a tie between Ironhide and Prowl.

 

Definitely Ironhide, he was such a great character.

 

None besides Prime. But if I had to pick one, I guess Starscream actually. I thought Prowl had the coolest death scene of all-time!

 

Brawn, he was a cool guy.  

 

Got to Starscream, in fact once he dies I think the rest of the movie gets a bit boring if I'm being honest.

 

Seriously...

Come on, 1 shot kill? Give us proper fights, like Prime. Prime was the only one whose death was handled well in the movie. The rest, not at all. But I said "all" earlier, because, as my user title says, Prime was always my favorite.

 

Watching Prowl still tugs on the spark strings. Wheeljack as well  

 

I remember thinking it was cool that people were dying, it being war and all. It was a little shocking but if not for those scenes we might not be talking about the movie today. Ironhide's death was so brutal, but hes a fighter and couldn't just lie there and play dead.

 

This. To be honest, I loved seeing the characters die like that.

What can I say, I'm a mean bastard.  

 

probably whelljack and windcharger. i know windcharger never really had a part in the series [actually was it windcharger or gears next to wheeljack]
starscream as well but atleast he had a cool death, except for galvatron.......

 

All the one shot kills. Brawn, Prowl, Ironhide and Ratchet. Come on! These guys used to blaze away at each other in countless episodes yet in the movie, one shot does it all? Starscream using Megatron I can maybe understand. Wasn't his gun like one of the most powerful G1 weapons? But Starscream and the Constructicons doing the same? No no no.

So yeah, I don't really care about the characters dying, just the way they died. Now, if Tracks had died......(he wasn't even in the movie!).

Ironhide, Wheeljack and Ratchet equally and that Wheelie didn't get scrapped

 

Starscream of course  
his death scene is one of my favourite all time TF moments but right after I watched the movie for the first time, I had to watch the Beast Wars episode with Starscream in it to remind myself that he has an indestructible spark anyway!

Seriously though Starscream is really missed in season 3...of course so are Prime, Ironhide, and everyone else who died.

 

Oh I don't dispute it was sppropriate to see characters finally dying, but to me, it's still got to be Ironhide.

Look at it in the context of a war movie. The old warhorse crawled after Megatron and was contemptuously and summarily dispatched, then Prime was later killed in a fight. That means Ironhide failed in his duties at the very end. A poor way to go out for him.

My top is Starscream, then it's Ironhide and Wheeljack. All three characters were so fun to watch on the shows.
