    RotF Human Alliance or Animated?

Would a four year old have trouble with either of these toys transformations?

I'd say Animated Bumblebee. Movieverse transformations always seem harder to me. >> <<

Even though I'm not that good at transforming Ani BB myself, I'd say go for animated since the RoTF HA Bumblebee looks to be a little more on the complicated side. 'Course I could be wrong as I haven't actually gotten or transformed a HA Bumblebee yet. Really though, I think an Animated Bumblebee might be the best start for now. ...Unless, that is, you go for an easier version of RoTF Bumblebee. (FAB Pulse Blast Bumblebee perhaps?)

You can go with Gravitys bots, FaB, Activators, or g1

Sorry lads, but can you keep it to those two as they are the ones that are readily available in shops.

I just started this thread on behalf of someone else who is quite confused by some of the responses!

I have to concur. For a 4 year old? I'd have to say that either the regular Deluxe Animated AND ESPECIALLY the HA Bumblebee would be above a 4 year old's head... The Activator BB is going to be much easier to transform, and I have to concur with Pravus...

Animated will be far easier, and I think the kid might enjoy it a wee bit more, with the look and simplicity.

Please tell me you're not seriously considering the HA Bumblebee for a 4 year old.

My 4 year old son has no problems transforming Activators Bumblebee. He prefers the larger deluxe Bumblebee, but he still can't transform it without help.

I'd say Animated. It's easier but, still great.

animated, anything ROTF thats not a scout or legend will be too much for a 4 year old and they will have too small of pieces so id say activators ani bumblebee

For a 100% guaranteed good present, get him either Animated Activators BB or FAB BB from one of the movie lines.

For....oh....let's say 60% chance of the kid enjoying the toy, go for Deluxe Animated BB. I say "60%" because the transformation might be simple, but it's still pretty darn counter-intuitive. It's not like G1 Bumblebee where you can clearly see the robot mode and you can picture in your mind how to turn it into a car.

Deluxe Animated BB is by no means a difficult transformer, but when you must pick between Deluxe or Activators BB, Deluxe is less-appropriate for a 4-year-old.

I seriously doubt any response we make will be anything LESS than confusing to a non-fan. :lol

The Activators is probably the best choice.
