Wreckers. Their weapons are improbably awesome. And, I mean, the Wreckers. We've never gotten a G1 set of the Wreckers outside of retcons and exclusives.

Then the cost-effectively awesome G2.

 

The one that doesn't involve me ever owning it. The keep your money version.

 

A really great friend of mine snagged Bruticus for me this weekend at SDCC, so I guess my decision is made, in like the most awesome way   But I would have been happy with the retail release. I'll be picking up individual Wreckers as well, though I don't plan on building Ruination. I'm so on the fence! I think I'll be buying them mostly to headswap their noggins onto different bodies, and I'm more interested in iGear's Impactor, if that ever gets made..

 

I plan on picking up all of them, but right now the SDCC one, because I want to make sure I can get it.

 

Since I officially own a SCCC Bruticus (He's on his way, but I payed for him), next one I want is Wrecker. I'll probably get Whirl first, because he's the best reuse of the mold. Then Roadbuster for the gun, then Topspin for the AWESOME deco, then Impactor for the better-than-Twintwist head, then Twintwist.
Why is it that everyone LOVES Twintwist and Topspin's heads, but I HATE them?

 

Because they are TOPSPIN & TWIN-TWIST.

 

I wanna pick-a-mix from the three Bruticus versions, but I can't without buying a lot more than I want.  

 

The G2 giftset is really the only one that's had the "wow factor" for me. The other versions are nice enough, but combined with price and only average color schemes IMO, I can easily pass on some.

I will definitely be purchasing the G2 set, the retail set, and the Wreckers set because it's a different character.

 

Wreckers. They look like very good repaints (except for Twin Twist, he sucks) and them forming Ruination seems so right to me for some reason.

 

Im going for all of them if i can.

 

It does not look like any of these versions are close to the G1 Bruticus colorscheme. Takara may probably release that version with shiny paint. So far the best one in my opinion is the G2 version. The box is so cool.

Both SDCC and retail since I prefer retail Blast Off.

 

I like the SDCC version the most with the G2 right behind it.

SDCC. I just hope I can buy it.

 

SDCC is way outta my range right now and will probably only go up in the months to come.
G2 is definitely something I'm interested in but can live without. I will see nearer to Sep10 if I have the suitable funds.
Wreckers not a chance. Nice were finally getting these characters but I think they should of been done much better justice. Ruination is not much like the RID version either.

The retail version, not sure right now. I want to see what Takara and possibly Funpub do with the molds. I can see them doing G1 and Car Robots versions respectively. If not I'd get the retail version solely for customization.

 

G2, the price is incredible and a lot of the paint jobs are really nice. I'm also interested in the Wreckers build though.

 

If you decide to head swap out Impactor, I may want to talk with you. I'm seriously thinking about painting up Onslaught as Kup and using an iGear head for him as that mold just screams Cybertron Kup to me.

That's the one issue I have with the Wrecker set. I'd have rather had Springer over Whirl and Kup over Impactor in those spots. And maybe Perceptor over Roadbuster.
