With all this talk about Botcon I was wondering what individual figure released over the years is the most sought after and which is least favourite/wanted?

I think the most desired is definetely the Games Of Decepticons Set cause of Thundercracker, Thrust and Dirge

 

Individual most wanted would most likely be 05 Ratchet or 06 Megatron.


Least would be the 05 clones yech

 

Botcon 2006 megatron...is the most valuable...so i would say that is the most sought after...

the most least valuable...the 2005 virulent clones repaints buzzclaw and dirge....got 2 of those MISB(bag) for $20 shipped a couple years ago and still have had no one interested in them...they would be not worth anything in my opinion....

 

I really want the SG Autobots, but I know I'll never have them ;_;. Dont care for anyother set except the Beast wars one.

 

Most wanted I would say G2 Breakdown or BW Antagony seeing as everytime they come up on ebay they get swiped up quick. Megatron is a good pick but i think there are more of them than those other two.

As for the least...all I can say is nicely put

 

Antagony, breakdown, darksyde megs, 05 ratchet.....the virulent clones are pretty rare. packrat and fractyl. I think antagony and megs are the most expensive though.

 

packrat has always been a confusing thing to me...you can get the almost exact same toy with the blue walrat toy...at a fraction of the cost...yet folks spend tons of money on the packrat version....the only difference is rattrap being painted on instead of packrat on the toys back....same mold and same blue color...

With the release of Universe Ironhide and Ratchet, the price for their botcon counterparts has dropped quite a bit.

Yeah, the '07 Seekers are still hot (probably due to the fact that the Henkei ones are Japan only right now, and Thundercracker's US version is better than many of the Henkei versions) I think that Kup and Scourge would be big this year. The less expensive ones are Bugbite, Sideswipe , Sunstreaker, and Huffer. The extremely high ones that aren't the Seekers are Deathsaurus, Ratchet and Ironhide

 

Darksyde Megatron? Really? That figure really has no appeal to me thats all.

I would have to agree with others opinions on G2 Breakdown and Antagony.

I still want Defensor and all the other unproduced BC stuffs.

It has significant appeal to me...and I'm actively looking for one now.

Whatever happened to those "Moonracer" White BB repaints from the 1995 Botcon? I'm interested in getting one (simply for the oddity of the toy being licenced by name but not by bio), but it seems every last one has dropped off the face of the earth.

 

I like the fact people have varying opinions about which is best or not, seems they struck a chord with those past releases.

The Dark Rodimus really appeals to me.

 

i'm really just after Bug Bite from Games Of Deception. I have the full GOD set, which I am currently selling due to my buying and just having sat in my attic, the only one i want to keep is Bug Bite!

Sounds daft to be selling it if thats the case, but I can't see the point of keeping the set just to have that one figure. And it'll be fun trying to track a replacement down!
