Can someone post pictures of Battle Begins Prime and Animated Voyager Prime on both sides of Animated Leader Megatron? I'd like to compare and see which is more accurate scale-wise.

    Thanks!

Is it? In the show it seems Megatron is huge and I'd like to emphasize that. But I appreciate your response, thanks.

As with any TF series, scale is all over the place. There, he's huge. But then the two are fighting toe-to-toe in the series premier, and back to back in A Bridge Too Far, and at those points, Megatron is bigger, but not that much bigger.

Voyager Optimus and Leader Megatron makes for a pretty good height difference, while still convincingly looking like they could fight each other.

Yeah I've seen some battles where Optimus is just up to Megatron's shoulders, pretty tall compared to that shot (from the 1st season, "Megatron Rising"). I guess it's impossible to get that super scale haha. Thanks, might just get Voyager Prime on my next inflow of cash.

i may be wrong here but i am pretty sure that that shot is from the episode where soundwave makes the autobots think they are in the city as humans.

i think that scene wasnt real

Nope. It's from the first season final episode "Megatron Rising Part 2". Prime wasn't even a robot when he fought 'Megatron' in Soundwave's virtual reality in "Human Error".

Personally, I think that particular scene was an animation error. In pretty much every other scene Prime and Megs are on together, the size difference between them is about the scale of Leader Megs to Voyager Prime.

In the cartoon, Megatron has "tower over anyone" (except Omega Supreme) power. :)

    (maybe Lugnut too)

Going solely by a size-comparison model sheet I've seen, Prime comes up to about the underside of Megatron's chestplate, which translates to the Deluxe prime being a good match to Leader Megatron.

However, size hasn't been shown consistently, other than Prime ALWAYS being shorter than Megs, so either size Prime can work convincingly.

I'd say Deluxe, since I remember Megatron picking Prime up one-handed and swinging him around like a doll..

Deluxe Optimus would. However, he may not be is in stores.

Wait til Animated returns and get Wingblade Optimus Prime.

For stylistic choices, their sizes vary greatly in the show.

    I'd pick Voyager Prime because
    1. He's the best looking one
    2. He seems to be appropriate in scale to Megatron
    3. He is appropriate in scale compared to deluxe Prowl, Ratchet, and leader Bulkhead (and probably the upcoming Hydrodive Bumblebee).

That's what I was considering, but there's no news about Wingblade, for all we know, it could be next May before we get him.

What will dear Megatron do before then? :(

So, seems from the posts here, Voyager might be a good choice. Thanks guys!

EDIT: My gosh, just realized it's my 100th post!

Going by the Animation scale charts that were posted here, as well as the majority of the series, I think Deluxe is actually the closest match in terms of scale. Sure there are times when he looks to be Activator or Voyager sized, but as a series as a whole, it's Deluxe.

    Here's Voyager:

    And Deluxe:

I agree Deluxe is more in scale. But Voyager is more accurate to Animated OP.
