Eureka 7 Full Metal Alchemist Blood Plus Paranoia Agent WHich one did you think had the better ending????
I think it's a toss up between Eureka 7 and Paranoia Agent. None have great endings really...Fullmetal Alchemist has the WORST ending if you go by the TV series alone, and even with the movie it's really...depressing :/
Eh i think FMA had a desent ending and wasnt too depressing. I would add Bleach but i dont know when that series would end and i cant remember how Cowboy Bebop ended.
Of the 4 shows listed, I could only stand watching 1 to the end. Though I really did try to like Blood, it just went WAY too slow. Eureka 7 grated on me too much and the ending was just too much of a hippy love fest for me to enjoy, and I couldn't stand Paranoia Agent enough to even bother watching any of it, let alone seeing the ending. So by default I voted for FMA, which I actually did like, as it left the story wrapped up while leaving it open for more (aka the movie). However the best of all times goes to Cowboy Bebop followed closely by both GitSs. Shame AS went and gone took off their saturday animes, and only shows Bleach (which has begun to drag on and on) and reruns of FMA at a decent hour while their two new shows rot in a 5 am timeslot.
Loved Big O. Couldn't really stand to watch much of the other anime on AS. Watched Bleach for a bit when it first started, but that was because there was usually nothing else on.
- Eureka Seven - Pretty good ending, IMO, but not really outstanding. - FMA - I really liked the TV series ending but didn't care for the movie ending; too convenient and happy. Since the movie is the "in-continuity" ending, I consider the movie. - Blood Plus - Haven't seen. - Paranoia Agent - Loved it. Weird, but explained virtually everything and gave the series a neat cyclical nature.
You don't have it listed, but I always thought Trigun's ending was pretty good. Really bitching fight between Vash and Knives.
Ah, Anime endings. Always a touchy subject with me, as I've seen series that I found absolutly amazing ruined by non-sensical or otherwise annoying "ends." As for the shows listed, I'd have to go with FMA. It wrapped everything up, gave us most of what we were hoping for (namely Al restored), and left it open for more. Closely followed by Blood+. The show had its problems, but I enjoyed it for the most part and the ending was very bittersweet. Don't remember much of Eruka's 7 end and couldn't make it past the second ep of Paranoia Agent. Trigun gets points for me though. As far as I know, it's the only Anime ending where the hero made a point not to kill his nemesis.
