    Autobots don't need gas or oil, they dont use fuel, they survive and operate off of Energon. :popcorn

    I assumed that it was gasoline that Bumblebee leaked onto Simmon's head in the first movie.

    He does pop off what appears to be a gascap, but gasoline is not really a lubricant.

    i'd have to agree with everyone else in saying that the fuel they run on isn't exactly important in the film, but they probably, as with in the other continuities, run on energon, and convert that into fuel

    I think they just have the APPEARANCE of those things. It's all part of the disguise. Underneath that double pumper high rise carbureted V8 is Cybertronian tech.

    Michael Bay does not have time to film a scene where some random douchebag gas pump attendant shoves a gas nozzle up BumbleBee's asspipe! Unless of course there is some epic explosion involved! That would be Sam's job anyway as he and BumbleBee have a bond. God I hope there aren't any random douchebag gas pump attendants on this site!
