Autosaving at loading points and psychos? Bitch please, people need to GTFO and play RE5 instead if they want that.
I know. He looks and sounds nothing like he did in Tatsunoku Vs Capcom. Well, the autosave sucks, but I have no problem with new psychopaths.
I meant autosaving at them rather then them being new, althougth having checked the article again I must have read "boss fights" as psychos.
Assuming this "new" game is priced reasonably I'd be more than willing to head back to Fortune City for some zombie killin' action!
Not sure how I feel about rebuying the game, as much as I love al(most)l things Dead rising. If it really is changed enough, and not full priced, then I guess i'll cover wars.
Well, I haven't played any Dead Rising 2 stuff at all, (except the DLC demos) and I bought DR2:Off the Record because its cheap. But let me get this straight, DR2:OTR is basically Dead Rising 2 but with a different character and extra environments? What were those DLC things then? Because I haven't played DR2 at all does this mean I'm getting a sweet deal? Anyway I've played it a little (and enjoyed it), but when Batman: AC came out its been put on hold.
Saw some of the new OTR DLC yesterday. I've got to get this game. I'm tired of slaughtering zombies on an island!
The DLC is stupid. You get your standard capcom fare of some costumes (if you bought the DR2 costumes they don't work with this) but then the real WTF piece. A 400 point cheat pack. Its all in the game, but unless you pay another $5 you cant use the cheat codes. From what I hear they also disable achievements and saving. So they're utterly pointless anyway. golfclap.
I like the idea of kicking in doors as the firefighter and escorting people a little easier. The Gamebreaker pack is lame. At least they disabled achievements. I can see how it may be fun to mess around with after you've beaten the game, but I'm passing on it.
The Gamebreaker pack really would only have been useful for getting stuff like the 100,000 zombies killed achievement, simply because thats going to take a bloody age otherwise. Maybe for speed running to get stuff you missed from the story too. But with those disabled it really has no reason to exist. I'll be honest, I had the points spare so I got the Cyborg and Firefighter pack. Credit where its due, they did alter all the clothing to work with Chucks significantly slimmer build. The bonuses also stack and only require one piece of the set. So I'm a Cyborg Firefighter whenever I'm not using the Protoman gear. I kick doors, run super fast with survivors, am immune to fire, deal extra electric damage with melee and electric weapons, and electrocute zombies if they get too close. Kind of OP. I wouldnt expect that from Capcom.
