The Arctic? No, too obvious (the poles' magnetic field screwing up telemetry), and Megatron already ended up there.

The Sahara? Nice (anything could be found there), but that's been taken by the original Primes.

Mount Saint Helens? Despire the off-putting name, it'd probably work both as a homage AND an actual location (the 1980s eruption could be taken as TF-related).

Depends on when it was supposed to crash. I could see an ocean crash working.

Speaking as a native of the northwest, this is the first time anyone anywhere has ever said that Mt. St. Helens was an off-putting name. Such ridiculousness! And besides that, I thought it was fairly common knowledge that Mt. St. Hillary was directly referencing Helens.

    England. Just for the chavs.

I suppose it depends when it crashes. I'm sure a ship crashing in present day would be noticed. Crash it in the past. But with a twist. Make it The Savage Land or something very like it.

A prototype trans-warp ship lost in time and crashed on Earth could be fun. It crashes millions of years in the past but the experimental engines cause the ship and the surrounding area to freeze in time and remain hidden in a bubble until the engines finally burn out or run out of fuel and the bubble bursts and suddenly drops the ship and dinosaurs and stuff into the present day.
Would be cool to have NEST go investigate mysterious Transformer signal readings and discover a prehistoric jungle has appeared and in the middle of it is a Cybertronian spaceship. There's an opening scene for you. Welcome to Jurassic Spark.

It's not time-travel - it's time stasis. The ship isn't discovered for all this time because it's been crashed just a second out of phase with normal time and technically stopped existing until the engines went poof.

And it's an excuse for having the Dinobots. ;)  Twist it even more and have them be the smart science crew of this ship that gets affected by the prehistoric setting leeching into their sparks and making them act primitive.

North America, because Heaven forbid that the Ark lands in the other 60% of the Earth's land.

    Don't give Mr. Bay ideas.

It would be funny if it landed in Australia.

Like, it's the last place people would even bother to look [because, suffice to say, NOTHING ever lands in Australia in fiction]. I can picture Lennox's face "...Didn't see that coming."

how 'bout it crashes into Cheyanne Mountain?, a.k.a. NORAD. that would work so well, having that place be built to study the Ark.

Noah's Ark is in fact The Ark. Protoforms stored in two by two. Piloted by Noahtron. It sank.
