Sure, if that is how he now wants to be known as in these open forums, i got no problem with that.
That's worked out really well for them hasn't it?
I'm not concerned about whether or not they come back at all, but if/when they do, they need to change their tactics to be relevant.
Well someone had to be there to drop off the latest test shots and meet with people.
Generally slides for the show deck are done in advance, so being at the show has no bearing on whether or not a company provides slides for the 3P reveals deck.
Snarl and Hardhead and I would be set. Not sure I'd continue their Headmaster line beyond Hardhead at this point, unless they did a really neat Scorponok for a decent price. Actually I still wish Perfect Effect would do one to go with their Fortress Maximus.
It would be great to see or hear something soon. But there is always this risk with these types of companies, even official ones. Just talk to ThunderCats fans.
It's the Banpresto SCM-EX line of claw machine prizes. The guy did custom paint to it ,and while it does look really clean, that figure happens to be really rare. I'm real conflicted about using it as a base for a model when making it out of kits would've been just as easy.
Count me in as also waiting for FP Snarl.
I personally don't think hasbro tr or CW releases make a big difference to the 3p MP market.
Just speaking for myself, even if hasbro pumped out a full cast of characters that I really wanted in the tr line, that still wouldn't make me sell off or stop buying 3p bc I just don't see tr/CW figures as an anywhere decent substitute for a 3P MP figure.
Maybe I'm not following the chain of discussion, but I thought I read someone saying that there was going to be a massive sell off of ppl's 3p collections bc hasbro was hitting some of the same characters in their tr/CW line. That just makes no sense to me.
Maybe if they were making official MP versions yes, but a tr/CW figure just has no place in my personal MP collection...
I think there are a subset of people who just want some version of character and will take the cheapest version. Another will always buy official over 3P if it's available. Another is now only collecting MP scale and selling off these figures. Another isn't collecting Fansproject anymore because they've been slow to release figures. If you add all those groups up and you have a significant chuck of people. It also seems like a lot of the designers are working on other projects, whether it's other 3P products or the action toys machine robo line. I'm just hoping they come back soon because I am a fan of their figures.
What's that purple thing Open & Play had on display?
Comparing quality-wise, HasTak has only made things worse for themselves in most cases.
It's funny. Not too far back I could not read this statement without it being followed by a bunch of heated responses regarding how 3P is da debil and no way should official be outshined by 3P.
No, there are many that still say that (especially the HasTak white-knights). Yet, each time they get proven more and more incorrect on that call.
FP are pretty good at small stuff - perhaps they need to refocus on that for a bit.
But it would be nice if they'd actually completed their Headmasters and Dinobots though.
If they need to make a quick buck juist make a Steelcore repaint.
I do not think FP refocusing on "small stuff" will remedy their situation. FP's biggest and most detrimental downfall has been their customer services (especially communications). They need to serious shift their business paradigm regarding that aspect. If they don't, they will doom themselves into oblivion (if they already haven't).

What are they even supposed to be.
Good name too
They're a bunch of robot space bikers who combine with their motorcycles.
Not them. This:
And for the record... I have never liked anything Fansproject has put out.
Its really weird to me that they never repainted him. So many people seemed to want the construction colors
That just looks like one of the more obscure Zeon suits from Gundam done up in Evangelion colors.
Are they making that "Zaku", too? If so, they need to make some transforming Gundam/Transformers crossover figures.
