After those images I am convinced, I need one!
Where can I order with no orange tip?

Is Kremzeek really part of the deal? Yay!

Totally. I'm going the ebay route, lots of reliable sellers on there that don't charge an arm and a leg. I just don't get the BBTS love when there are cheaper sources out there that are just as reliable (and won't mod your shit).

But hey, if you like paying more for orange modded tips, then have at it.

If TFSource falls through (likely, I feel), then I'm prowlin' on eBay. I can't justify paying full price for a figure opened and man-handled by others to unknown lengths. This is the mother of all figures for me. Gotta get it right.

Why would you think TFSource will likely fail? Actually.. does anyone remember who didn't come through on THS-02 Convoy hybridstyle? I wasn't interested in that one but I think a few places didn't come through for their pre-orders to customers. Failed once.. fail again I would suspect.

I actually went with TFsource just now. Decent price, and I can cancel if they need to mod it.

I've never ordered from them before, I hope I don't regret it.

thats who i was looking at too...its a good price, and hopefully unmodded, but if it is, we can cancel...after seeing those in color pics, theres just no way i can miss this, and im worried that ebay may not be the cheapest place once hes out...

Just a sneaking suspicion, nothing more. Two major sellers have failed. Curt has been dodgy about the issue. Standing on the middle of the fence doesn't comfort me. At least I can cancel if I'm right. I HOPE I'm wrong.

You won't regret it... provided they don't turn to the "dark" side.

I ordered mine from fantofan. In addition to selling the figure unmodified (and at a discount price if you pre-ordered before Christmas), they offer lots of different shipping methods to get around the customs issue. They offer to open up the box and transform the figure into robot mode, then ship him outside the box (this is also useful because that means they can check to see if it had any quality control problems like Starscream was so prone to. If they find a bad one, they'll just look for a better one to send you). Very convenient, I think (I'm not a MISB guy so I dont care if they open it, so long as they arent modding it, which they arent)

I just went with HLJ.com. Been a long while since i ordered from them, but they've never steered me wrong in the past. And you're ordering straight from a Japanese store, so no modding.

I'll wait for Ebay. All this talk about modding these things for customs is enough for me. One of these American retailers is bound to put some in their Ebay stores anyway.

I went with TFSource. I went with them with MP-SS and it went just fine. I did end up waiting a little longer since they didnt get their shipment of MP-SSs as soon as the was released (which is understandable since they are a US based company) but as soon as they did get their stock, I had him (to my residence in Canada) within 2 weeks. It was packaged meticulously and even marked as a gift to avoid Canada Customs crap. Overall experience with TFSource is above and beyond expectations.

My 2nd choice (by a very slim margin) would be A3U.

yeah he looks cool, but the Japanese release lack of quality control is way too high for me to put down 100 dollars on something that may or may not work correctly.
