I know this will seem like a noob question. My folks have moved house and while clearing out found the old G1 collection from when I was a kid & have requested I take the lot off their hands :D

I may at some point look to try to sell some, but I'm more interested in sprucing up the collection. Some of the figures I bought 2nd hand and were minus weapons / detachables. I also expect the stickers to be worse for wear after 20 years in the loft.

What options do I have in UK to replace missing bits and stickers? I looked on these forums and found precious little UK sellers. Any ideas?

For stickers, there's reprolabels, who carry a WIDE selection of reproduction old stickers, and shipping in only $2 WORLDWIDE.

For parts, check out the junkion exchange, the junk pit, or eBay.

ebay..../shudder... is obvious now you mention it. I'm not a huge fan of ordering random parts at a premium from overseas (may as well but a complete figure and be done with it). I tried the junk forums and frankly couldn't find any reference to what I already know is missing.

I was thinking more along the lines of someone reproducing weapons & bits similar to Reprolables doing stickers as you mentioned.

Yeah, reprolabels, reproparts, ebay and junkion for sure.

The resources section here and TFU.info can help you identify what parts are missing from what figues too.
