I liked Classics Astrotrain. I thought all the modes were pretty well done

 

I want me a triple changing, G1 Springer.

 

I thought Astrotrain was fine too. Blitzwing is certainly one of the big gaps in the lineup though, and I'd love to see him. I think they may be holding back since he just had a figure in Animated (although with the double Lugnut, maybe not). The triple changers are harder to make so maybe they're just cranking out the less complicated figures while they can.

 

After DOTM, we'll probably get a classics 4.0 that features a lot of these characters.

Personally the only season one character I really want now is Shockwave, because I'm a big fanboy. Now that the Jazz and Wheeljack holes are filled in, Shockwave and Soundwave are the biggest gaps.

I really want a classics Nightbeat and Scorpononk. An updated Sixshot would be even cooler than Blitzwing, but I don't see it ever happening.

At the risk of being unpopular:

If Hasbro makes a Generations/RtS Blitzwing, I'd like it to be a Lugnut-style update of the Animated design. Three modes, three faces. One of them can be the G1 face, that's cool. But Animated Blitzwing is such a better character and more fun to play with than G1 that I wouldn't mind folding him into my Classics collection at all.

In fact I'd prefer it.

I will hold my breath for a Sixshot, but as for triplechangers they are overdue for an Autobot one, and Springer with the comics and fan love I think would be a welcome addition to a line for it.

With the Wheeljack slot filled, Springer is my new "guy to angst over not having a decent toy of."

Yea after Blitzwing and Lugnut were such a team in Animated I'd really like an updated Blitzwing to go with the updated Lugnut. The way Hasbro has been blinding styles they might even get a look where he'd be close enough to fit as a Classics stand in.

 

People love to forget the two pack comic springer dont they yeah it was a a target exclusive but so was skywarp and UM and people still seem to count them

Or am I the only one who noticed that the big poll on this site concluded that the most desired Classics toy was Wheeljack and lo, Hasbro gave us Wheeljack? And two of the most fanwanky lines ever are running at the same time right now? I sit around thinking up Classics I want to see as much as the next guy, but your title and first post immediately annoyed me.

On another topic, I have to say that I dislike Universe Octane, not for being "imperfect" but for poorly representing the character model. The headsculpt is random, the wings don't quite achieve the right look, he has massive shoulders that aren't on the character model, and you can't pose his arms at all.

I'm intending to nab Henkei Astrotrain at some point though, he looks genuinely cool in robot mode, which is always most important.

 

Blitzwing would be great.

 

Sandstorm had a Legends figure.....although, I obviously would love a larger, more official figure.

Unfortunately, yes he did..or is...since they're not out yet. Trailbreaker has been a slight favorite of mine...and I think he deserved a deluxe.

 

^ Prowl, Jazz, and Hound all had Legends first. I'm guessing it will happen. Trailbreaker seems to be one of those guys who's overlooked a lot, but you can't help but love him. That goes for the designers too I'm guessing.

Really, fans of the '84-'85 lines shouldn't worry. Nor we '86 fans, thanks to the movie. '87 and later fans, they don't get many homages and may have to be happy with Thunderwing for awhile.
