I prefer Target, because of their low Deluxe prices, but if I'm looking for a shelfwarmer, then TRU is the way to go.

What about you guys? Do you shop online? Locally? National chains?

Usually Target, but I've shopped at WM from time to time (it's father away, so Target is the closer option). TRU is also good for a few exclusives now and again, like Movie Mudflap (now my Universe Erector.)

I shop mostly online (Walmart, Amazon, Toys R Us, Hasbro Toyshop, etc.) for my TFs.

I shop on the sale forums (Tidal Wave is so awesome) and manily my local TRU which usually a lot of awesome animated stuff....though not a lot of Universe...but that's no big deal since I mainly collect animated.

WalMart is closest, with Target and TRU being a rather long drive. And with Wally having the best price that's where I head the most. But I also check Amazon daily for prices on stuff I want, I've ordered off there several times.

I used to shop at the usual spots... WM, Target, TRU.. But it kept leading to wasted trips and deep feelings of remorse and regret :cry

Now I shop at HTS and BBTS. Occasionally the Bay..

    Next up.. Junkion!

I usually shop at my local Walmart or Target, but recently I've been getting stuff off HTS as long as they have coupon codes that make it cheaper for me.

i live in a small town with a walmart so i shop there. The nearest target is a half hour away, so maybe i go there once a month. I never shop online, because i love the thrill of the hunt. that excitement you get when that figure your looking for is on the shelf provides is awesome.

I'm with you, DMC. For a long time, (far too long in retrospect) I did the whole "hunting trip" thing where I would hit up all the Wal-Marts, TRUs, KMarts etc. in my area of Manchester, NH. Then I realized that all that driving around was costing me hundreds of dollars in gas and repair/maintainence on my car, not to mention the time investment of driving around my area every week.

Ever since my first order from TFSource, where I was so impressed with their service, promptness, and professional shipping, I've been a firm believer in "pay slightly more and get the exact toys you want in perfect condition right when they're released." I use my all my newfound free time and gas money to go to strip clubs instead, haha.

Pretty much wherever, I have a TRU, Wal-Mart & Target all within 5-10 minutes of my house. For my online needs I go to HTS or BBTS.

    Ebay:
    Retail: Mostly Walmart and TRU.
Online: Koolytoyz.ca, Automatontoys.com, eBay (rarely now it seems).

Since the dollar went in the toilet, I haven't bought much from BBTS or TFSource.

Retail: Target, Sometimes TRU and rarely Walmart (Walmart is the evil retail empire and I prefer not to support them if possible)

I typically shop at Walmart since, like others have said, they have deluxe TFs for $7.77. Also, it's where I found Animated Ultra Magnus for $29.99 and I couldn't pass it.

Target is good for some stuff, it's where I found Hound, SS and Cyclonus a few weeks ago. TRU is kinda far away since I have to go to VA to go there so I don't go there that often but sometimes I can find some good stuff there too.

Retail: I prefer Target best, just because stuff is always stocked well - Walmarts mostly look trashed and TRUs are always buried under their overpriced exclusives. But I generally go to areas where there are more than one store type to hit, so I can maximize hunting.

    Online: TFSource

Target or online. TRU never has any sales, and I don't shop at Walmart ever.

Amazon, BBTS, and HTS have all been my very good friend lately :D
