Some nice figures are coming out soon, and I'm not looking forward to dealing with scalpers and paying for gas. What sites do you feel offer the best selection, price, and shipping?

    Thanks in advance.

    Well it depends...

    Where do you live?
How much are you prepared to pay?
Which site has the most of the figures you want so you can combine postage? etc...

    Big Bad Toy Store

I like being able to preorder and not be charged until they get it in. This alone makes it worth the extra they charge.

    tfsource.
I like paying now, when I know I have the money, rather than not knowing for sure if I'll have the money when bbts feels like charging me.

Its possible to pay later with tfsource as well. The only difference between the 2 is you can't easily cancel preorders with tfsource.

Does TFsource have generations preorders? I'm looking to compare but they don't seem to exist on that site.

I actually prefer BBTS for preordering since I can buy a ton of crap that I can wait to get and then when the pre-order comes, I ship it all and save a ton on shipping.

TFsource is more for my impulse buys since they're cheaper on average and they have that strict cancellation policy on preorders.

That said, I did order 2 sets of Bruticus add ons from TF Source because a) I knew I'd never get cold feet about these guys, b)they had that $7 discount if you bought both figs together and c) I knew I couldn't wait to get them, so waiting to amass a Pile of Loot would not have worked for this particular order.

For what you're looking for, I think BBTS is your bet. TFSource doesn't have Hasbro preorders. Heck, Hasbro doesn't have Hasbro preorders. Just BBTS.

I have been with BBTS on preorders for some time. i just like the convenience of pre-orders going straight into the PoL and saving on the shipping.

it's fast, easy, and you can change your mind a lot before hand.
i did that a couple times so that i could budget out for more items as i found out about other releases.

BBTS exclusively, right now. I really like the PoL, as well as the ability to cancel pre-orders with no charge and even to cancel orders, for store credit. Their prices are comparable to most other sites and retail, with a few exceptions (new HA releases). I'm also collecting Green Lantern figures right now, so it helps me save a lot on shipping by being able to order my TF and non-TF stuff from the same place.

That said, TFSource is a very good site as well and I'll definitely order something again from them in the future.

I may be sold. What's a "PoL" though?
