    Hey, guys!!
I have been out of the loop for a few years but some of the awesome new junk coming out has reeled me back!! :D

I'd love to hear some feedback on your vendors of choice...

I have been a BBTS fanboy for the better part of a decade now...and they have never let me down.

However, it seems that in order to combat the hot figure vs. shelf warmer stocking problem that has plagued Transformers toys since the days of the Jumpstarters, they now offer small quantities of the hot figures for preorders (at 170% retail) and sell the rest in bundles with less desirable figures.

    I can't blame them... but it's frustrating!! :p

I have yet to order from TFSource and I hear good things...only their prices are even higher.

So what are the alternatives to these two stores for current TF products?

My days of fruitlessly driving from TRU to Target to Wal-Mart hunting for these figures are behind me...

    BBTS to save shipping.
    RobotKingdom/Amiami for other import needs
    KOtoys for KO needs
    Angolz for misc figures.

I add a vote for Robotkingdom. Comes out cheaper than US places (usually) even with shipping

I'll stick with BBTS as the POL savings on shipping really helps make up for the higher prices on new retail stuff and they have earned by business with excellent service and packing that should be the industry standard but sadly isn't . Hasbro, Target and Amazon could learn alot from them.

    Hasbrotoyshop.com

I'm real surprised it hasn't been mentioned yet. One flat fee for each figure class, decent shipping costs and great customer service. Can't wait for them to put the new RtS and Generations lines out due to the free shipping over $50 promotion going on now.

Not to mention they also frequently run coupon deals... they had a 20% off coupon for awhile, and before that a 15% coupon. The hot stuff doesn't tend to stay in stock long, though.

i use bbts most of the time but still use hasbrotoyshop.com and lately toysrus.com...but realalistically i use bbts the most and only use hts and tru.com for figures when i cant find them anywhere else or if i don't care about the box condition, because thats the downfall with tru and hts is the packaging sucks big balls 8 outta 10 the box is damaged or you get a really crappy paint job..i've also used tfsource with no problems but i've only bought 3 figures from them, their packaging is the best of the 4!

99% of the time I order everything from Kapow. But lately I have been going further afield as Kapow's stock range is often a teensy bit limited (sorry Andy!) and I have to get my TF goods from places like BBTS (Impossible Toys Valkyrie, Generations Blurr & Dirge), RobotKingdom (Animated Rodimus & Ironhide) and Chimungmung (KO Henkei Thundercracker). Plus I'm probably going to put an order in at TFSource this week for some of the Japanese Autobot Alliance stuff.
But generally, if Kapow have got it in stock, they've also got my money too. :D

FYI, you can't consider BBTS's prices as 170%. Walmart and Target had raised their prices to $11.99-$12.99 and have only recently dropped them again to $9-$9.99. HTS and TRU are still at the higher prices. After taxes the BBTS markup is ~20%-30% which is a little more reasonable. Until Target & Walmart raise prices again I'd shop there but it'll be time and gas consuming.

Mostly BBTS. HtS of course is great if you can catch good up in stock, and I even used it to catch up on a few Universe figs.

The Collector's Club website is actually not bad either IF you are already a member. Then you have a good selection of the new stuff coming out at retail price.

Kapow is a UK store. In the UK we write and speak (sometimes rape) the Queen's English.

    Kapow Toys

You must have gone to a different website, most likely in that different universe of yours.
