I used to get them at my local comic shop, but about 6 months ago I started getting them all on line, only going to the comic shop when I wanted to get a DC Direct toy.

so what about you guys? do you order on line like me?
Do you still hit the shop weekly?

I support my local comic store. I don't purchase anything online; I'd rather give my cash to a local dealer. I have a a pull list at each store in my area so "spread the wealth".

I, on the other hand, get most of my subscriptions from straight from DC.

However, if there's a mini coming out, or I want to try something new, I go to the local comic book store by my college or back at home.

Gary's Comics And More. Best local shop I've been too, and I've been to a few.

I have a standing order with a mail order company because I don't have a local shop to buy from anymore, which is ironic since I live within short driving distance of the largest concentration of retail floorspace in the country.

I support my local comic stores. I sometimes pick up trades and manga at a chain bookstore or online.

I have a standing order with (what was) my local comic shop - They Walk Amoung Us in Richmond, Surrey, UK - and have had for about 17 years now.

Anything new online I need in addition to that comes from either Graham's Crackers or eBay

I get my back issues from these 2 as well - but have used several of the Central London comic shops including Gosh, Mighty World of Comicana and Orbital (PM me for locations if you want to visit)

Anyone know any shop in the UK doing online back issues ?

I get my comics from The Comic Book Shoppe in downtown Ottawa. There's also Silver Snail a few blocks down the same street, but their elitist attitude and high prices makes me steer away from that place.

I go to a few of my local stores usually, but sometimes may buy a trade through Amazon (because of their prices and free shipping deals). But I mainly hit one store because I won their 52 contest on Free Comic Book Day and get every issue of 52 for free. Unfortunately, that often means I pick up other books and spend way too much money on comics now since that contest win.

my local comic stores and/or toy shows. I have been tempted to go online, but usually they aren't any cheaper. And you have to pay shipping.

Guess if I lived far away from a comic store or had a hard time finding something I might buy online.

New Dimension Comics. When I have extra cash. Which isn't often anymore. I tried the local one that they opened up here a few months ago. They seem to be more games than comics so they don't get much stock. So I pretty much stick with NDC like I have been for about 7 years now.

i get mines from "Things From Another World" in Beaverton, OR. right now, since i'm spending $100 each month and have a box with them, i get the 20% off. Comics aint bagged though.

only about a year after that i found out that 1) Dark Horse Comics is based in Oregon and 2) Dark Horse Comics owns "Things From Another World"

and if i go back home on vacation, i go to "Collector's Maniac" in Kaimuki, HI. All comics are 25% off and bagged. My brother has a box but he dont read all the titles i do.
