So in this show it's pretty much established that cybertronians have energon flowing through their body and they bleed it when cut.

    SPOILERS FOR CROSSFIRE BELOW

When Airachnid tore Breakdown to peices, there was barely any energon to be seen on the ground. Now here's my question:

Where did all of it go?

Was it left out by the animators or seeing as Airachnid is, well, arachnid based, did she "drink" it like an actual spider? And if she did, did she do the same thing to Tailgate?

For whatever reasons, small injuries (cuts, broken limbs) bleed like crazy but massive injuries ("organs" removed, total dismantlement) don't leave a single drop.

Maybe they don't "bleed" from major limbs? Remember when Screamer got his arm blown off? No energon leaking. Airachnid just lost a little spider arm though.

Or maybe Airachnid was sick and twisted enough to drink it. It wouldn't surprise me.

MECH probably vacuumed it up or something.

    Thought about it.

I like to think that Airachnid works in a spiderlike fashion with her victims' fluids.

She collected it in a container to languorously bathe with back at base, ala Elizabeth Bathory.

While that IS a plausible explaination, I have to admit that bleeding is portrayed VERY inconsistently throughout the show. Sometimes wounds bleed, sometimes they don't. Characters seem to bleed only when it's convenient for the plot.

Then later he got shot in the leg, and energon was EVERYWHERE. Doesn't make a lick of sense.

It would be pretty funny if Airachnid actually drank all of it. Especially considering she needed energon.

Also I noticed there doesn't seem to be much energon spill from the Vehicons either. Or the Insecticon when Megs ripped off his arms/head. I think this show only shows energon "blood" when it needs to.

It seems to be used mainly for effect at key moments, and as a storytelling aide, but perhaps too much is frowned upon. In this instance, it occured to me that maybe someone thought a dismembered corpse splattered with 'blood' might be a bit too much for what is still a kids show. There's only so far you can push the "but, parents, they're only robots!" thing, and buckets of 'gore' and dismemberment together might just be veering too close to that line.

This is kind of off-topic, but what I wonder what became of the synthetic energon Knock-Out found in Stronger, Faster.

Good question. I was sort of wondering that too. I was expecting a freakin' lake of spilled energon based on his traumatic injuries. I think it'd be cool if she drank it. Nice little "spider"-vibe from that.

Airachnid saved it to ingest later. That's why she's not on a frantic energon search like Starscream.
