I probaly won't be able to get either the original or KO Dinoforce anytime soon. So I figure my best bet is to buy Monstructor on Ebay sometime and have them painted as the Dinoforce.

While that is defenetly a good idea, I have to say that I will not be able to paint these toys myself. I'm not a very good painter and I'm bound to fuck up the job. :(  So I was wondering if any of you know any sorta places or websites that I could pay someone to paint Monstructor as Dinoking. Anybody?

And please don't make fun me for this.

Head over to the Radicons section. You can get a commission there :)

Like ORIO said, there are customizers who will gladly do a simple repaint like what you are asking for.

Okay thanks. Though, I'm not gonna buy Monstructor yet. I can't afford him right now, and I don't think he's on Ebay at the moment. Can that person wait?

Probably, but you could just wait till he's in hand. Might be easier :)

Okay. Sounds good. Thanks for the advise. I'll also have him repaint Nightbeat as Minerva.

Would he also be able to paint Fortress Maximus as Grand Maximus?

I think you are way underestimating how much a good commission costs

Er...I see. Well if you don't mind me asking, how much would making Monstructor into Dinoking cost? Or Nightbeat to Minerva?

There's plenty of people who would be willing to do it, and they're all going to have different styles, and likely charge different prices. Your best bet is to make a thread in the radicons section saying you're looking to get this done, then talk to whoever says they're interested, and see if there's one whose style/price matches what you're looking for.

    One more question-

Would painting Thunderwing and Crossblades as Black Shadow and Blue Bacchus be possible too? I know they're not just redco's but retools as well...

seriously as some one who is THINKING of starting to take repaint and small mods commisions doing such rare figures as a fort max or a monstructor would intimidate me to be honest!

asking someone with more experience such as frenzy_rumble or encline, and of course tonyscustomz would go to a high price for such a project! start saving those pennies!

Okay okay! No problem. I just spent $360 on a Liokaiser. So I'm sure I can do this too. Maybe not anytime soon, but sometime whenever I get the chance...

For the fort max/brave max, consider getting a hold of two small KOs of those figures... roughly 20$ each, and having those worked on. Like added poseability and weapons. Plus it should take away some of the intimidation of working on an original.

    Good luck :)
