Sorry for starting a new thread just so someone could answer me.
But I really want to know where I can get Jetwing Optimus Prime in Singapore.
I know where to get Ultimate Optimus Prime already.
By the way, which one of the 2 is value-for-money?
First time buying a Transformer toy,so I was hoping for one that is fun to play with

It'll probably be a lot easier once the Japanese release comes out on July 16.

Then there will be more to go around (and they won't be figures from Australia or Tokyo Toy Show).

    thanks powered convoy and tankor1
I thought it was out when I saw people having pictures and photos of the toy.
I think I'm going for Jetwing, unless it's the same price as Ultimate OP.
If anyone sees them in Singapore, please tell me asap

    Welcome to the boards! :)

If this is the first time you are buying a Transformer toy, Jetwing Prime might be a bit frustrating. He is essentially Revenge of the Fallen Leader Class Optimus Prime, and is quite complicated to transform. I am not sure how difficult Ultimate is.

You're welcome, he is out (as it were) just would be difficult to obtain due to the limited nature of his availability (Australia and Tokyo Toy Show pre-sale only). After this week though, he should be easier to obtain (mass Japan and, I presume, Asian release).

Word. Some experience with modern day TF toys helps immensely in knowing how much pressure can be applied to certain joints/parts to avoid breakage, as well as what parts are made to be safely reattached upon breaking.

I'm not bothered by how difficult the transformation is.
But I do hope that the toy can withstand me playing with it.
Someone just let me know when they spot Jetwing Optimus in Singapore stores and the price of it

But it should reach Singapore soon.

But I know you will definitely regret buying Ultimate Optimus Prime because it is not movie accurate.

Wait for Striker Optimus Prime lah.

You see my friend, TakaraTOMY has a habit of releasing 2 Leader class Optimus Prime figures for each movie. The second release will usually come with extra weapon and better paint job to make you buy the same toy again.

Pictures of the actual toy is not out, but if it is the Jetwing you want then you can just buy Jetwing Optimus Prime.

Yup he was released by TakaraTomy today (well the 16th) so he should be easy to find now.
