Does anyone have any sites or chain stores that sell non-bootlegged soundtracks? I don't know why it bothers me so, but I really want the originals. Thanks in advance.:thumb

Try gamemusic.com. Everything is official (including the jacked-up prices for importing all of the Japanese stuff). Amazon also sells some game music soundtracks, but they tend to be American stuff. Beyond that, the only other places I know about are bootleg city. And PM me if you want to know where to find soundtracks for free. :confused2

First option: If you have friends in Japan, abuse them. Amazon.co.jp offers free domestic shipping for all orders over 1500 yen. Get said friend to ship you the goods as cheaply as possible, and you can save an ass-ton of money.

Other than that, http://www.cdjapan.co.jp is the go-to place for most of my ordering. Also http://www.gamemusic.com, http://www.vgmworld.com, http://www.otaku.com/, and http://www.play-asia.com/ are fairly reputable, although I've only dealt with Game Music Online of those.

I would also recommend scoping some game music forums for collectors selling their stuff. I've scored some amazing deals that way. The people on most of the forums I've been to are very knowledgeable about what there is and what they're selling. You won't have to worry about bootlegs from people on boards like http://www.soundtrackcentral.com, or http://www.chudahs-corner.com.

Anything in particular you're looking for?
