I know the people who seen the movie are probably embargoed from reviewing it until monday but there doesn't to seem much chatter going on about the quality of the film. I was expecting a bunch of reactions from people who were at the premiere but we got pretty much nothing.

Actually, selective outlets got to see it yesterday.

Monday, every basement critic and his brother will see it.

So...have you seen it? What is your impression? And, perhaps less bias, what has been the reaction from those who have seen it?

    Dear Mr. Nelson Esq.

I am Sir Eyemax Cinematix von Creditsroll, brother of the famed film critic Lord Nelson Analog von Camcorder. I have critiqued no less than 25,000 films in the classic 13th century cinema-theater Le Basement Le Bigscreen. I hereby request a First Class ticket to the moon, and to have Michael Bay's cinematic masterpiece Dark of the Moon projected onto the vacuum of space, so that my eyeballs may be exploded from my orbital sockets and the film rammed into the central processors of my brain, so that I may give the film the ultimate review that it truly deserves.

Failing that, a free t-shirt would suffice.

    Yours Sincerely,

    Sir Eyemax Cinematix von Creditsroll

So does that mean Roger Ebert got to see it yesterday. I want to see the bashing he comes up with this time. His reviews crack me up because I can't take them seriously.

Ebert actually strikes me as one of the few decent critics who's capable of giving big blockbuster films decent reviews. Sure, he's picky, but for good reason. And he's also capable of enjoying really simple blockbusters. His review for the first Transformers was actually passable.

While he loathed TF2, for fair enough reasons, I'm actually confident he'll be more positive about TF3.

Yay! I'm also seeing it on Monday.

And then probably Tuesday at 9 to see the enhanced 3D print that the theatres are required to show if they want to show it at Tuesday at 9.
