By now I really thought we'd have seen some options for replacing the heads of the TFC Constructions with more G1 accurate versions, especially for bots like Neckbreaker or Madblender. Is there just not enough demand, or is everyone just sitting around waiting for CrazyDevy? Given the looks of their Devastator head, I'd like to see someone else give it a shot.

Depends how many display as the individual team really. I'd wager the vast majority have Devastator on display so wouldn't really benefit from it.

I'm interested...provided they are well executed, maintain transformation and make aesthetic sense, I'd buy simply for the option.

This is true. I'd probably be in the minority that would prefer to have them in Alt Mode. Don't get me wrong, he's a fantastic figure in *any* mode... but the display options in bot mode is just... well, there's A LOT of options. Had more fun giving them different weapon layouts than with having the big ol' Gestalt.

I'd keep the Maketoys Giant in Gestalt mode, because IMO it's only worth it in that mode.

So for me... new heads that were closer to G1 would be a welcome addition... provided it's not some absurd cost like 20+$ per head.

I guess I thought about this more because I can't keep them combined in my cabinet due to the space between shelves, so I keep them in individual robot mode and sometimes bring them out to my desk where they get combined.

As far as the moral dilemma is concerned, I don't think there is one. Another person is likely to make slightly different heads, and people can then have more choices. Much like Hercules and Giant...

yeah, that's my view too, that someone else is going to eventually. but i dont want to insult their comradery/artistic integrity either.

but when i saw these, i had to ask about constructicons. there arent a lot of people with the ability to sculpt and cast, plus this guy has tons of style and captures the characters.

I believe the name of the member doing those heads is hondasaint14, and I agree with deaculpa, if anyone should throw their hat in the ring for Constructicon heads, it's him.

I'd consider buying them, but in all honesty, the heads are pretty close anyway. Structor's for example is practically spot-on.

I'd almost worry that going any more G1 would clash with the design of the rest of the figure.

Well, Structor and Dr. Crank I'll give you. Even without visors they are pretty close. But Madblender and Neckbreaker have heads that look nothing like the originals, whereas Heavy Labor and Exgraver are somewhere in the middle. Hence why I think a set of classic's style updated (more detailed) cartoon heads would be very welcome.

Neckbreaker's head actually isn't too far off from Bonecrusher's cartoon design. Really just needs a chin strap.

don't worry CrazyDevy will get to it eventually, and sell them at 50$ each, with LED.

The only one I'd really want is BoneCrusher. I've always liked his Square, Mono-Eye-like face.

TFC's Scavenger's head to me is awesome. Scrapper looks okay, except I would have preferred he get a visor instead of eyes.

Still, I'd for sure buy a set.
