Last I played was a year ago with my then gf and now wife. I forget what my score was but with 18 holes played I remember being 3 under. I rule!
Oh you have no idea! Not only did I, but she had two great scores, as opposed to my one. She's probably just better at it than me.
Minigolf is pretty good, especially when you do it with a group of friends. Everyone takes turns swinging their putter and putting the ball in the hole. Sometime's on the harder courses only a few people will be able to get the ball in the hole. Here's a good trick a friend of mine taught me - on the last hole if you cover up the hole with your hand, you can pull the ball out at the last second before it goes in and play again. Makes the game go so much longer.
i just posted a pic of me playing mini-golf in that good looking thread hoping for a nomination... bah well... the coolest mini-golf experience for me was in june when i was so far off that i just gave up and swung the putter so that the face wouldn't hit the ball but well... picture it like this(L=putter, o = golf ball): Lo like straight on. So i did and it bounced about 7 different times off the brick walls and into the hole. Never to be repeated again but my all-time favorite mini-golf moment. (although i give props to the time i was joking around the entire game and somebody called me out on not taking it seriously. so I was like fine i'll take it seriously, bagged a hole-in-one and said 'i'll continue jokin' around now')
When I go on holiday, I always play, it's great fun. Crazy Golf, Pitch + Putt, but real golf I suck at. Pitch + Putt I'm actually quite good at, and crazy golf I'm just pure awesome. I can't wait to go back, Im gonna play so much golf.
