Anyone know when we should expect Stores to put Animated leaders class Bulkhead and Megs on the clearance rack. Went to one store last night that literally had 12 boxes piled on top of each other in front of the bottom shelf already filled with leader boxes of them.

Never. The leader class is a permanent part of the line, and we'll only see old figures on clearance when Animated is on its way out, which won't happen until after Bulkhead and Megatron are long gone.

Get it now, nevermind the clearance. Because once you got the figure on your hands, you'll know the true price of awesomeness of it. ;)

Talk about being cheap dude! What is he like $20 in the U.S? What are you waiting for $15? I think you will have a better chance finding him on sale before clerance.

ahhh I was thinking the voyager then, My bad....lol. I can't see those going on clearance anyway but with X-Mas on the way a sale would be pretty much a for sure thing, but I dont think it will be at the "almost free" clearance price this guy is looking for.

In the UK, Argos just finished a 25% off Animated offer. Can't see anyone doing much more than that just yet. Probably going to have to wait until next year and RotF for clearance to hit TFA.

If animated is discontinued when movie toys
begin in june'09, then they might move to clearance.
Some places might move them there after christmas.
    But that's a long shot.

I personally don't see why people want their toys even cheaper. A leader class toy over here in the Netherlands is like.. $87 here

With nothing new coming out (not just Transformers but other lines like SW, GI Joe, etc) anytime soon, stores don't really need to clear shelves so I don't expect a clearance anytime soon. Maybe a sale of like 5 bucks off but not half price clearance. If you want those prices you will need to wait after Christmas but I doubt there will be much leader class stuff on the shelves by then. The movie leaders went on clearance, but around 1 year after they first appeared.

Yep, approximately same price here @ Indonesia.
That's why I'm glad to get Animated Leader Megatron from China far cheaper than local retail prices.

I'm always sorry to hear of absurd prices for plastic toys in my fellow Transformers fans countries. :(  Seriously, that's quite some money there. I could pay my digital cable & internet bill for a month, or my home phone bill for over three with that cash alone. If there's cheaper means to obtain toys, I'd be quick to recommend.

Usually, buying online is much cheaper than the retail prices have to offer, and that already includes the fast shipping from USA or China to Indonesia.

Y'know what annoyed me about that? We have several Argos stores around here and all throughout the offer they had minimal TF:A stock in (which was all stuff I'd already bought when TF:A first hit). The offer finishes and, unsurprise, they suddenly get new TF:A stock in. Bah.

As for Leaders, like others have said, the Movie Leaders are still dragging along as full price here. Except for Argos, who were putting out Movie Leader Primes for around £15 and Movie Leader Megs for something like £25.

Really I can't see the TF:A Leaders going down in price for quite some time, certainly not with Christmas soon on the way too. Christmas is usually when the larger price toys sell best.

It would take considerably less time to methodically beat the other kids up at school and steal their lunch money, thereby saving up the $40 to buy one.
