There has to be room made for the new WFC toys and quite possibly an toys for the new TF show this year,But for that to happen,The ROTF toyline has to end just like the first movie line did to make room for others,So when do you think the ROTF toyline will end?

As for me,I think it'll end around May-June.

Yeah, I'd say around May or June, right before Botcon so that the early release of the next line will be available.

    It's nearly over.

But we will still be getting movie character themed figures with the following Generations line, because the TRANSFORMERS 2010 line covers all styles and fiction.

I imagine the actual RotF packaging and subline will come to an end sometime this summer, when the entire line shifts over to just being "Transformers". However, I wouldn't be surprised if Movie-style figures and characters are still making an appearance in the line for a long time..

If a more even selection of characters from various continuities reduces the whining about some sublines have to take a backseat for a while, i'm all for it.

Hopefully, when they do end you can buy Wheelie for like a dollar as well as all the other shelf warming Deluxes. I love Voyagers at $10.00 too, bring it on!

the day before the TF3 movie toys hit market/....And i thought the TFTM line would never end....I do like the NEST subline though....makes a semi coherent storyline to folllow that was within the movie and the toys and bios have mainly been spot on...definitely like dirge and bludgeon...

Well it's already turned into what the Allspark power line was. That hadn't lasted long.

    When Hell freezes over.

Just yankin' ya. What others probably said, sometime this summer. Though unfortunately while the packaging gets changed, we'll still be seeing movie-esque toys.

I figure the ROTF/ NEST subline will disappear after the next wave of Scouts, Deluxes and Voyagers (after Lockdown, Mindwipe are released) and the packaging will return to a more G1 esque style

The Uk Toy Fair said the new packaging and the new toys are Autumn / Winter 2010 for the UK, so probably they'll reach the US in Summer.

But I'd imagine that the Movieverse will simply keep going, even in a reduced capacity, all the way up until Transformers 3 hits. Because Hasbro's top goal is making money, and the Movie style toys sell.

    Ebay:
Toys from the first movie line continued to be generally restocked and available through December 2008 (about 18 months from first release), thanks to Premium and Allspark power stuff.

I'd imagine we'll see movie line offshoots until the end of this year.

I don't think there's been anything announced as being part of the line further than the forthcoming wave of the NEST subline and Leader Starscream. (Although I am beginning to wonder if I should expect Starscream in the yellow box...)

Actually, that probably will be the case. If you actually look at that back of the box image for Leader Starscream, it looks nothing like ROTF packaging.
