When do retailers usually restock?

    Like Walmart, Target etc.?

I plan to continue my hunt for Leader Megatron and Concept Camaro Bumblebee, so I was just wondering when stores usually put new stock out/get new stock.

Nights are the best bet, but I remember once my friend saw a walmart employee putting out new classics at something like 5 pm. And I think target does all it's stocking after hours. As for day of the week, I've asked around, and I've been told it's totaly random.

Most targets will have everything stocked by 8am for a high volume store and 11am for a low volume store.

Around here, Target seems to stock everything on Friday, for the weekend, so I try to hit them up on Sat. Wal-Mart does it every night. I try to go their around
1AM-2AM, because by that point the stuff will be out. K-Mart has not stocked, or straightend up their toy department since 2003.

Think I stand a chance of seeing anything knew at either a Target or Walmart should I check tomorrow or am I better off waiting?

Would probably be in the early evening, maybe 5 or 6ish.

Early evening?!? All the other bastards will have beaten you to it by then!

I have one Walmart that stocks the toy department overnight and another that happens to stock what they call "GM" (General Merchandise) during the day and only groceries overnight. I'm pretty sure I have one of those "11 am" Targets - they're always stocking during business hours. The only exception I ever detected was on June 2nd. I rolled in at 8am to get my Robo-Vision Prime and they had gone from no set-up to all set up over night.

I also noticed recently that Target no longer has those snarky "We won't look in the back for 'Collectors Items'" signs anymore. So I'm going to put them to work from now on.

Really! Target has a sign that says it won't look in the back?

I work at a Toys R Us, in the back area, and as far as TRU, stocking is done overnight, with minor re-stocking done over the day, if its real crowded in the store room.
As for the when new shipments come in, right now at my store it's once to twice a week, its usually pretty random though as far as store to store, but ours is Wednesday, and that product out on Thursday morning.

They used to. I couldn't tell you when it actually went away - I tend to be oblivious sometimes. But back in the day - whenever that would be - they used to have signs posted regarding "collectible items" to the effect that they're stocked when they're stocked and advising the consumer not to bother asking about them. It was quite a topic of complaint around here a while back as I recall.

Yeah, it pretty much depends on the store. There was one Target I used to hit the same day of the week and it used to work pretty well. Then one week, they moved their shipment one day ahead and I missed out completely.  All the new Cybertron toys, Alt, Titaniums were gone. I only saw the extras of the ones I didn't need.

That is why you must go every single morning, starting from the first asian sightings.*

note: I'm sure some people do that - it would certainly work - but in my case I am kidding.

    k-mart part
Thats freakin hilarious and true. I went to the one here in Jeffersonville IN 4 weeks ago to get my moms some mulch and soil so I popped into the toy isle for a peak and it was mangled. However after some digging I fond the cybertron prime w/ blue legs stiil marked at $44 so I took it to the garden department and paid for it when I bought said supplies. It rang up $11 , $11.66 w/ IN tax, nice right? TX

My K-Mart still has a few Energon Ironhide, Signal Flare, Sky Blast, and Battle Ravages on the shelves at full price, and a wall of Batman Begins toys.

For 24 HR. WM's around me.. it's either after 10 PM or before 8 AM. Or both. Or in the middle of the day.

If you have enough patience, you can order Leader Class Megatron from KBtoys.com. They have a special offer where any TF-related purchase of $40 or more gets free shipping, so if you just want Megatron you'll get free shipping. I just ordered mine a few days ago.
