They don't come out till later next year, so I would guess around spring-summer 2008.

We've seen a few first-wave protos, and Galvatron is not among them. He's probably in the second or third wave. Expect to see the protos around the same time as the first wave hits.

Please tell me you're talking about the concept art that was at SDCC and not actual prototypes!

Right, so what is the plan?
This year, Movie toys wrap up after Christmas - February 2008.
Animated toys are released with Cartoon - Spring 2008.
Classics/Universe is released -Summer Fall 2008.
    Movie 2 toys - Summer 2009.

    Anything else?

Right, concept art, sorry. I accidentally mistook Blitzwing for Classics 2.0.

I just hope I can mistake Blitzwing's toy for Classics 2, even if headswap is needed.

Movie line wraps up next summer, they still have the "allspark battles" segment for spring to sell alongside the animated line.

I really want to see Classics 2.0 figs but they were mererly announced at Botcon and they showed designs for them. I'm diggin' Sideswipe but I may need to do a little work on Sunstreaker.

You do know Sunstreaker won't look exactly like that? The mold is supposedly made to allow a different chest for Sunstreaker so he won't look like Sideswipe. And its his new form, if you want his form he had back in G1, buy his G1 toy. Its not unusual for Transformers to look different when they get new bodies.

Initially that confused me, but then I remembered American seasons are upside down and inside out. If Aussies get these toys at the same time, we're looking at:

This year, Movie toys wrap up after Christmas - February 2008.
Animated toys are released with Cartoon - Autumn 2008.
    Classics/Universe is released -Winter/Spring 2008.
    Movie 2 toys - Winter 2009.

Remember, you guys are heading into winter. We're going into summer. Stop saying what season things are released, and just say the months. Saves a shitload of confusion.

Hopefully we'll see some early next year. Hopefully we'll also start seeing some more Animated proto's, especially Blitzwing and Shockwave, though I would settle for at least some design sketches for Shockwave for the time being :D .

I know you're serious, 'cause you used bold words. But maybe you could just simma down. He's using seasons 'cause they're more general than months, and typing Summer is faster than June/July/August. It's not that hard to translate mentally.

Still doesn't change the fact that not everyone on Earth has the same "summer"
